wendy, thanx for the pm.....will probably go down to royal franco later if hubby free...these few days have been very hectic...buying this and that......i have to get the sinks, wc deliver on tuesday... don't think need to seal..the one i'm using now also never seal...

actually my toilets fittings is about 1200 balance is for hob, hood, kitchen sink and tap.....if i break it down like tat, doesn't seem that expensive liao.... but think we'll still go Royal Franco look see look see, i need to get the fan from them... kthc : by then Yeak will have more or less completed my flat....from what i know he'll not take up too many projects at one go as he uses the same workers....he'll work out time line so this workers can follow one project after another....hope to see your pics soon!!

where's A lighting? i don't mind going down there to take a look...coz i'll be getting quite a number of downlight so have to compare...thanx in advance!!!

adrian_john...got to tell you this i really enjoyed all your drawings very detailed and professional.... back to kitchen...an island is lovely but it really depends on space don't want the whole area to look cramp instead...saw another forummer blog...the island is great given the space they have to play around....

Day 10 of reno... today went to Royal Franco, wanted to get sinks,wc etc...hai~~no fate lei wait till 12.30 not open....maybe will have to make a trip down tonight again...instead went opp to get quotation for lightings....downlight is $33 whether 2x13 or 2x18...finds it expensive though i'm not sure whether the parts they use is it better....the prices for the rest of the lights not too bad quite reasonable....maybe should juz get downlight elsewhere.... so far only asia excel quotation seems quite ok...was hoping to get one from franco before decidng... asia excel quotation includes cuzino hob and hood, franke sink and tap, sinks and taps x3, wc x2, hand sprays x2, alpha instant heaters x2 total damages $1924....wonder if its ok....*headache* went to the new house for a quick look...so far both toilet, kitchen and balcony floor tiles done....finishing up the common toilet wall tiles...doing up the base for kitchen cabinets...oh ya the toilet louvre windows up...got the same one as rondy's and family of 4 Yippee!!!! Guess they will start on the living room floor tiles tomorrow... That's all for now!!!

my present air con almost 10yrs liao still ok lei....but of coz not as powerful as before......still got service contract wasted to change lei....actually if you don't mind doing it later, y not use it for the time being..the only difference is layout of trunking...maybe can't hide... if air con standard size...should be ok la....hehe if get bigger one den cut hole bigger i know what you mean by QC of the tiles...i was so worried when i choose the tiles...was expecting need to re-lay some parts but luckily only one small part so not too bad....quite pleased with this one....

angel 81 & family of 4 : if i known earlier got good reviews about them, wouldn't hesitate to use them....haha saw too many bad reviews inside forums about them lei....their prices definitely cheaper...but hubby scared...bo bian lor...pay more money hopefully don't give problem....

should be finish within 6 weeks....if no hiccups in between...i'll hit myself on the head if the air con is gonna be delayed ....progress so far good...guess these tilers work pretty long with yeak so communication between them seems easy.... i heard LSH has very nice tiles too.... hehe no choice lor...once your CEO decide what to use, den it will be easier for you...just have to maintain QC...when is your reno starting? have you thought of cabinet designs and all?

the common toilet wall tiles all got the circles...colour peach and white...i think mine abit safe because colours not too obvious so if maybe 90% not fit from far it should be ok.... but if you going for black and white circles, that will be more obvious, then again if the tilers take more effort to match it, i think should be very nice...juz on one side will be enough...too much think dizzy...when i saw mine, i was like wa so many circles..... how long is the air con? if juz changed might as well keep it can save costs ....but if too long den better change...

ya its the same lei....yesterday already sign on dotted line with GC...they say will put in special request for us... hopefully its ok

exactly...when we were at hafary, kept asking my contractor got confidence can do it anot...we took a chance...if not it'll be very ugly like thw white one on the beam...think they thought nobody see so that beam anyhow use the remaining.... lucky for hubby's QC...

i believe you can discuss with ah soon over your concerns and see if you guys can work out something.... try not to shorten bamboo...i just had one bamboo came crashing down from upstairs when i was putting out the laundry...scary lei....the bamboo dropped all the way to 1st floor.... your FSM very busy hor, must be good biz...I hope that everything for you goes smoothly and monday on can start see reno photos...

wendy, is the cuzino hood partially hidden behind the cupboard doors? i remember that it was thicker but it look very slim in your photo....

ya i think so too...i look at the big picture and think not bad at least alignment ok till i saw hubby talking to Yeak very serious....i still ask him where is the mis-alignment haha think if i QC sure very jia lat...

did you put in special request too? i really pei fu both of you for goinn around the island looking for what you want....hubby always want to see and i'm that kind "since see never buy no need see first" hehehe... lucky for me hubby also like the black one and most importantly like what you say dirty probably can't see...must check with smallboy. but seems like some things eg cars black, very easy to see dust ....

give it another try since they have sorted it out....i'm also looking at decals for my house right now...besides wink, dnalife, decorette any other websites to go to?

ya, we just went to GC and already ask them put in request...hopefully everything ok....i love smallboy's fan from franco...very nice and looks cool....
