angel: hi five!!! we got the same taste!!! no problem....i was going to take a photo of my 2 way tap to show kthc...don't know how to explain also.... ronday: try the alpha heater today...superb!!! definitely as good as storage heater....water pressure strong... today all the false ceiling done except for part of the dry kitchen...have to wait air con installation.... bought the sealants and paints.....tomorrow gonna start painting...and Yeak informed me that carpentary works at factory start today.....once painting done, acid cleaning done followed by carpentary works and laminates flooring....YIPPEE!!! think everything should be done in less than 2 weeks....the excitement building up!!! kthc : will be looking forward to your pics....

yes, its been so far so good...no big headaches...the only ones are yesterday when there are so many decisions that we have to make at one go....he's very nice kept asking us if we need a break to clear our mind....and when we need to buy all the lightings and accessories...one impt thing is i realise instructions convey to him will be passed to the workers, and seems like he was there almost every morning to supervise.... the sauce rack model no is Kris KS18801 exactly same as angel, the pullout basket Kris ks18145 is 45cm(inclusive of cabinet thickness about 4cm) they have a slightly bigger one at 55/60cm....smaller one found near the cashier and the other is inside where they have more racks.... just check my receipt, it stated sales person is Lee 16 guess can try looking for lee....i hope its him....very approachable....

rrjan : just in case you need to buy the corrugated paper from paint shop....just outside bukit panjang at the upper bukit timah road shop houses, there's this shop that sells paint think its near to esso petrol kiosk....

we have not try it out...but so far a few other forummers using...and i think no complaints lei...lifetime warranty wor....

of cos i don't mind ...like to get more opinon....will keep that in mind and talk it over with hubby tomorrow...we are a little sceptical about using these laminates for the kitchen...now keep trying to visualise.... really ar? got different technology for it...good then we'll stick to this...

hehe i guess going thru this reno also puts our relationship to a test too...but its a good one at least we're working towards achieving our dream home....after all the choosing done, another sense of relief and the anticipation starts....i'm quite excited to see how the cabinets will turn out....i remember someone told me before, the carpentary works are like the clothes, accessories we wear...it can make you look good anot.....so i'm really keeping my fingers crossed...

dear sis reminded me of my toilet windows (view from kitchen area) finds it special and i think main reason, nobody in my block install it..... the laminates we've chosen for the kitchen cabinets (lighter one for top units, darker for tall units at dry area and near sink)Yeak will add a mirror backing to my tall unit as i've an open compartment in the middle to put water.... Grey for the tv console, white for the laminate sliding door at facial room and MBR toilet cabinet, black for MBR wardrobe 3d laminate for shoe cabinet laminate flooring for all the rooms

Day 17 of reno..... most of the false ceilings up today....and electrician uncle say by tomorrow should finish all the rewiring, will wait for my lights to arrive on friday to install the DL.....and my contractor emphasize that now it depends on how fast hubby can paint the first coat of paint before he can continue doing the rest....haha pressure now on my dear dear....plumbers were here to install all my sinks,wc,etc...make a boo boo...we forgot to get the 2 way tap though Yeak say can install for us later...thought it was best to settle all together...luckily i have to go imm to get my ss racks...went to asia excel got the 2 way taps from them...rush back to pass it to plumbers....heng still there... after which went to meet Yeak at his office, talk for almost 3and a half hours, settling all the laminates, design and layout for the MBR wardrobe, shoes cabinet, wet and dry kitchen cabinet, tv console, tv shelf for MBR, MBR toilet cabinet...also the toilets bi-fold door, bedrooms door, main door, main gate, window grill for kitchen, laminate flooring....choosing the laminates took the longest time and Yeak was very patient...hubby was unable to decide esp for the kitchen and he threw the decision making to me.... in the end Yeak gave us a very good combination....there are moments when both of us got too frustrated at each other and Yeak will try to keep situation under control...hehehe feel like he's the mediator....but in the end i'm just happy that all is settle.....and now hoping the laminates will turn out ok..... was it different from what Angel's? i got the same one as Angel....but tell you hor, really must approach the plump guy la...he more pro active...i'm not sure why the rest of them are there for....ai mai ai mai(hokkien) u ask one question, they give one word ans....we purposely wait for that guy cause saw him serving some other customers....

the laminates you've chosen very nice...esp the kitchen....something different...my contractor also help me chose something similar...we were quite hesitant to use it but looking at yours, think will ask him go ahead....he was telling me he has never done before but he find the combination refreshing...

hoe kee at imm...the pics atually belong to angel...but in the end i got all 3 same one as hers...i heard from smallboy the carpentary people who did her kitchen got it for her at quite a good price...maybe you can check with uncle....
