hahah aubrey, i read somewhere in the forum uncle soon gave quotation in chinese and that's a first for us... he didn't disappoint us...gave us a handwritten quotation in chinese.... and yes really can't resist his pricing...

met up with uncle soon today at fondue's place....for the first time i actually can leave the whole communication process to my hubby.... they are so comfy talking in hokkien that i feel out of place....hehe... overall his quotation very good as in really fits within our budget....so much lower than the rest with more things done.... Which to me is good but to hubby, he feels its too good to be true... He was afraid that might translate to the work done compromise....Hai~~ The other ID that we had in mind actually called him just now (muz have telephatic mind) and when he mention about getting other quotation at much more lower, she raised questions about permits and stuff....now hubby also getting confused.... Will discuss with hubby again for a final decision on which contractor to use.... That aside, today is my first time meeting uncle soon and ya...really typical uncle with bermudas and messy hair.... Poor thing, he was having a fever...muz be too stressed out and not enough rest....

looking at your post on the laminate,aircon... Personally cost is everything to me probably becoz of 3 kids....have to tighten budget.... 1) only considering laminate because cheaper.... 2) air con only in rooms...already hubby complaining about the higher electrical cost when only on one air con at night.... we also decide to do a l-box in the living so that we can put up a ceiling fan guess should be quite sufficient... looking forward to more pictures.... oh ya!! i also thought of installing rain shower but don't know about how practical is it esp when it cost so much.... hey shkeat!! is it cheaper to get from JB...My cousin asking me to go there get the lightings and all....

I would have to start sourcing for some classes for my kids to attend at bukit panjang....hopefully those that start in june.... *fingers crossed*

Yeah!!!! today meeting uncle soon!!!! Hubby did a good job calling him almost daily....hopefully can meet him and get a quotation... somemore i realise uncle soon staying in woodlands so got no reason can't meet us... but lucky also we are meeting in the afternoon so i guess doesn't clash with the other owners...i guess future meetings with uncle soon will have to be at all this kind of odd timing....easier to arrange.... will update the result of today's meeting....

same here...i have to shift in by end of june coz my buyer only allows 2 months extension...already at 1st apt they asking whether can shift in earlier... luckily my agent already wrote down the 2 months extension at OTP..
