The other side of the wall the store for added security, these walls were supported by nails drilled into the actual wall In another room, they are soaking the wall tiles in water before using it.... so far so good...monday should be able to see toilet wall tiles up....so excited to see what's the wall tiles gonna look like.... tomorrow should be able to see the drawings for the cabinets....

Day 4: Met Yeak at our place and he explain to us some of the things tilers were doing...they've started building wall for my kitchen and storeroom and touching up on the walls that were hacked.... the electrician also came in to check on things...it also set our minds at ease coz its the same guy we saw doing another house...he remembers us too.... I ask Yeak what is the metal thing for...he say put this will make sure that the angle of the beam is the same throughout...SWEE The new wall between room and kitchen

sometimes all these people we must chase like crazy...i remember the last time i've to chase HDB was for my HLE...really a waste of our time....think you must make it a big thing liao...every delay you encounter is money, are they gonna compensate? maybe that will work hehehe....i hope they settle for you fast....

Updates : Went to see my house at about 5 today...the hacking of wall and floor tiles completed and as expected the walls hacked... The workers are clearing the debris and boy so much.... much to my surprise saw all the tiles there as well....guess everything going smoothly as of now.... After seeing the wall between study room and living room hack off, I am convinced we make the right decision... The whole area looks so big and airy....so excited just thinking of how i'm going to do up the deco.... Tomorrow will be meeting Yeak to make first payment and probably go through the tiles...

Rondy : ya...he started hacking without signing or payment...did he charge you? i can't remember if he charges, will check when i see him tomorrow... Family of 4 : i think so too...if its those ex id, think everything must follow law by law.... Angel81: hehe...i know...will be meeting him to make first payment tomorrow...

Day 3 of reno... For the past 2 days, my house has been a real mess but its a good mess as all the floor tile and wall tiles hack, kitchen cabinets, air con dismantle. hubby took photos to show to the kids and they can't believe their house is like that.... Was a little concerned about whether the permit to hack down wall was approved so yesterday pester hubby to call Yeak to confirm...and he say YES it has been approved....YEAH!!! no delays on that...hopefully at the end of today can see walls gone!! Till now we have not sign anything or make payment to Yeak ....in fact hubby was the one kept asking Yeak when he want to sign....he was worried that Yeak will not start work if not paid but seems so far work still going on...but think we better pay him fast ...tiling should be starting soon...

we also gonna do the furnishings bit by bit...so i guess by the end of the reno, its more of the wet works and some carpentary done and alot of my present furnitures...might not match very well....hai~~ budget budget!!
