looking at your quotation, lights should be inclusive but its best you confirm one more time.... your design also ok la...i guess it just so happens the people who reply you prefer newnyew design...me i'm doing false ceiling throughout the living, dining, cosy area, dry area of kitchen and passageway..with l box in living and dining...went up to see today...not too low lei...still quite a comfy height...maybe you can let ah soon know the height you prefer so they can adjust for you....

i don't really like the staff there today....not helpful and can't compromise on the price...there's another guy that i talk to yesterday...his service good and can explain more...i forgot to ask for his name...he's quite plump and younger than them...today he's on MC...let me check if the invoice has his name.... the one at jalan besar worse, esp if you are bringing kids...don't even feel like buying there....i feel they have tend to pick their customers....i was there with my kids and i don't feel they want my business at all and they behave as though my 4 and 2 yr old kids is capable of tearing down the place....i saw in another forum topic that one of the salesman have the audacity to scold the customer with regards to the child.....

usually when they quote the false ceilings, its to cover all regardless of design change.... soi think should be no problem to do that design...i've changed my design a few times,all accepted...now doing up liao....the whole false ceiling at the dining has many DL...maybe if for passageway,no need to do so many.....and get some 2x18 and2x13 to play around...there are some DL which can accomodate both 2x13 and 2x18 without compromising on the size...so your false ceiling will look uniform...

i prefer the layout done by newynew or your design 4....if its possible go for newynew design...as the flow is there, not too much odd corners....it'll look neat and tidy...

newnyew : think its your model that give Yeak pressure ...he did mention to me the problem with glass backing for toilet..he thought it would not be very practical and that one he never quote people before....think he never even do it before...*stressed* think the glass backsplash not easy to handle if big piece...he told me if just one chip the whole piece can't be used lei...

think that will be newnyew 2nd apt.....she so anxious to see how much she gonna spend.... ling: i juz realised 18 is the 1st apt not 2nd....you still got ALOT of time...no worries...

Day 16 of reno..... tilers have finished the tilings but can't take photo as the floor fully covered with corrugated paper....the electrician uncle and false ceiling guys were there today... the WC,sinks from Royal Fanco arrived at 2.30pm....everything is in order... met up with Yeak to go into details the carpentary works...very happy with what we have discussed....on little glitch though: he forgot to tell electrician uncle about our speakers wiring for living room, luckily false ceiling not up yet still can do it..... but he did mention that things will slow down abit these few days as my air con installation is on Monday so part of the false ceilings can't be done.... *my fault lor* As we were be painting ourselves, Yeak also say it depends on how fast we can finished...so i guess if there's any delay, its our own fault ....haha but luckily daddy dearest volunteer to help and hubby don't mind me painting the base coat, so this friday onwards and over weekend, we gonna paint the house.... Having learn our lesson in the air con incident, today we finished buying all the rest of the stuff....went toi Balestier Extreme lighting buy the lights and fanco fan.... alex has been very helpful and promised will give us the acto ballas and osram tubes for all lights.... as usual he throw in a free doorbell....have to say his pricing quite reasonable especially the dowlights.... Next went to Imm hoe kee to buy the ss rack (same as Angel) cause Yeak say he can't do the actual measurement of my kitchen cabinets....bought at $105....since we were there, went to Asia Excel to get the Cuzino and Franke package with 2 mirrors.... All these to be delivered on Friday....YEAH!!! feel a sense of relieve...but also a big hole in the pocket....
