are you doing up walls? i did walls for some parts of the house and create a store and a room....realise the first seven to nine days was doing all these and smoothening the hacked walls before the actual tilling....

great tips on the cleaning.....will definitely put it into good use....

they probably feel the heat from contractors as most people renovating nowadays have an idea of what they want...and contractors have also been exposed to alot of new ideas and carry it out at a cheaper price....

glad you managed to meet up with Mr Yeak.... he's currently doing my house....awaiting carpentry and laminate flooring which will be done from next week on.... so far i've only good things to say about him...as he help me jaga the whole reno progress, most importantly as he uses all the same workers for all his projects, they are very familar with his instructions and can carry it out without difficulty... even though i did my own painting, he took effort to come down and see the progress as well as provides valuable suggestions...and he also have an eye for details...things he find unsightly, he'll try to minimize it.... good point to note is that i realise the workers have the same mindset as him, they will advise on things which they find unsightly (tilers help on foyer, electrician uncle help on laying of points and pointed out one of the light panel with a scratch) he also quite chin cai...easy to talk to... hope that tis will help...if you need to see his works just let me know...i think next week will be good as can see the carpentry works and laminate flooring....
