not yet la in the midst of moving stuff... still got a few minor stuff have not finished lei.... yeak so busy...supposed to have someone down to fix something, never come...told us the person forget.....and still need some corrections to the carpentry(one of tv console can't fit the dvd player( missed by abit lei), and supposed to have an opening for the access to electrical points at low cabinet....),the tilers supposed to fix up an area to conceal pipes..and gas man coming to connect the pipe... check with you the hob right who's supposed to set it up? we diy or wait for gas man to do it?

the sofa looks very inviting....the seating part seems bigger than the usual sofa.... how much did you pay for it?

i didn't know that....i was commenting to my hubby that our delivery from Royal Fanco is a Honda Oydessy....thought it was probably his own car....can see he's very humble as well...love talking to him...after going to so many shops and some a few times, he won my hubby over just with one visit....we were indeed impressed with his service....

not easy painting yourselves....also just did mine with the help of my dad too....one good thing though can pick as many colours as you like...is this lollipop from ici?

Day 33 of reno..... was very surprised that the solid top came in yesterday,....with that done,my house reno is more or less complete...with just some minor finishing touches which will probably take place over the next few days....the washer and vaccum cleaner arrived as well.... in the meantime, we have been moving boxes and some furnitures over to the new house....can't wait to stay in....my kids are looking forward to staying at their new house too.... targeted move in date will be either wed or sat....YEAH!!!!

very very nicely done....using white for living, kitchen area makes it look big and very clean... have you started shifting your stuffs?

did you take pictures of the tiles? for marble, is it norm to dry lay for you first? not an easy job and according to floor plan... full white wall tiles will make toilet look bright...why not choose one side or one part of the wall to do something different?

tell me about it....even i go to the shop also pai sei... put it this way even though the door frame line crooked and got some paints on grills and tiles(the cleaning is a killer), YES its our efforts....feel so proud we contributed something to the house..... saw that you did your own paint job too....got a blog?

definitely tiring....the 1k is the paints only but its an estimation,have not done calculation ....this time round we underestimate the amount of paint we need (my dad painted his own house EM for about 300)....we thought a budget of 500 should be good enough but my ceilling giving me alot of problem because of flaking...wasted lots of paint on that....we have to apply sealer for the whole house bought the super big tin and still not enough ....even the lady selling the paints was laughing and after discussion we realise this house probably have not been painted for a very very long time and they didn't do a good job with the foundation ....i was also told that the walls probably absorb alot of paint...we did pick more colours for the house as well....one of these days when i'm free, will do a breakdown of the paints that i buy ....

you see what time new coming la....if not can wait till i organize a gathering you guys....
