Hi, I'm changing my washing maching after its 10 long years of service, yes its a THomson brand. Would like any suggestion of electrical consumer goods store that carries this brand of washing, nevermind its a hdb shop or the model is old one as long as the washer is new and the price is best. Thanks.

Hi, you can check out buildershop on silestone. I also read it on its website that it can take cutting and acid but not sure how true it is? Anyway, purchase mine last month during sale but yet to be install. Btw the no lining part is NOT TRUE hor! There is still a grove line because unlike solid surface which is a mix of synthetic plastic can mould and bend into any shape and the joints can be melted together before installation. Engineered stone is afterall crush stones moulded together into a slab. The colour variaties aren't fantastic but I can live with it for the price and the level of maintainanence. Everyone has a budget but whether does it suit YOUR needs.

I'm had new pipes install when renovating my kitchen, the first few gush of water is brownish when i turn on the tap and my hands, plates and cups smell of copper after washing. Any way of getting rid af the awlful smell. Should I let the tap run until it turn clean? Other better alternative?

I'm starting my kitchen renovation in June and decided to throw out the kitchen hood. Its still in good working condition but not as shinny shinny new, bought it from Mayer 8 years ago but only use 20times. Gurang Guni won't take it, a shame to throw away but want the space for cabinets. Dimension height 110cm, square base 50cm by width 60cm. Interest can PM me, offer ends June 1st.

Thanks for the advise, actually my old surafce is postform so don't know their should be no joints lines for solid surface. Last sunday, went and bought a silestone countertop at stile shop but haven't install yet, will definitely put it across to the supplier.
