I even saw the entire collection of sohome flora collection lo Hubby was so surprised to find out about s&c...at first we tot it was a copycat but we are so wrong >.< Melvin is pretty confident and stern at the same time. Hubby is impressed for sure =) He also gave us his views on the diff mattress brand...and intro us to Eclipse from USA. However I cant find many reviews on it. Only find that its like king koil - good n affordable.

maybe let me describe what i feel about smallboy's wardrobe as what i see n think of it.... its tucked away into the "wall" and forms a L shape wardrobe. only one person can inside comfortably but imo its hard to find things when u are too near the wardrobe. potential risk of getting stuffy and warm while searching for clothes in there. ....becos my current wardrobe is cornered by a computer table parrallel to it. If i open both doors, I cant get out and it get really really warm. Anyway the amount of space to "hang" clothes is very limited...big clothing may overpower space availability for all others One thing I like about the wardrobe is the door....No bottom tracks = No trapped dust

wow very dramatic day for you. s&c is closed on mondays. I was there last sat and was surprised to see SO MANY CATALOGS. We were so lost about choosing a round or rectangular dining table. Melvin even discussed the pros n cons then help us colour coordinate with our new sofa.

Was googling on T5 lights and found it to be popular for aquarium. Hmmm T5 vs LED...which is more energy efficient? I read T5 does not radiate heat. From Oochaga's t-blog, I realised the LED light has a special effect on stainless steel.

I think those led lights bought from sim lim tower by oogachaga is cheaper than those in IKEA. Have to check the price difference, length and how power is supplied.

My negative opinions on full ht shoe cabinets 1) Some areas may be too high to reach 2) May not be able to spot shoe colour/design at high ground 3) Supertitious MIL may tell u, shoe rack cannot be higher than your height else u kena "stepped".

@fondue ehhhh seriously I dunno how many shoes can fit into less than 1.8m width @pinkpetter this is very very informative! thanks for the tips! though I like to keep those unfrequently used shoes in boxes. typical types of shoes - slippers / sandals - sports shoes - low heel - high heel (rare for me...so I shall box them!) - hubby's shoes
-
i'm too short for a full ht shoe cabinet. actually if u can keep the store room w the min rubbish....probably can make space for seldom-wear-shoes for me...i only have 1.8m width and below window area to build a shoe cabinet...sad so SMALL! i have to start throwing shoes man =(
-
but it feels weird to EXPOSE all my shoes...haa which some I seldom wear lol both of us has more than 30 pairs of shoes combined...not many but a headache too not to mention Clothes @_@ I dunno how to plan my wardrobe!
-
erm i mean collect the keys ...hahaha i m really curious whether your kitchen feels cramp or not (excluding the opposite empty workspace) Which is better this t5 bulb or the led lights ?
-
i told htb about how my gal friends do the thing of sticking photos of shoes in front of box he couldnt believe it and said "only girls will do such organised stuffs"...heee Now I'm thinking of customising the shoe cabinet. we need a sliding door type to minimise space. not sure if it worth doing Zig Zag (cant fit a shoe box but must fit htb's shoes) or stay with the old school style
-
imo...I like the color of 1st and the arm rest allows ur neck to rest on when u wanna laze on the bed for a short nap
-
yup yup i'll be there but not sure what time yet. I may be inspecting my house....monday handover!!!
-
cant wait to see the kitchen & wiw!!!!
-
fondue: is there enough preparation space? can you share the measurements? btw 02May what time?
-
Smallboy & Wifey Thank you for opening your house today =) The workers are behaving quite well with so many walk-ins visitors today. Haha BTW the wardrobe in the mbr....does the door has a roller underneath? i told htb about trackless floor...he was wondering where is the support.
-
I just bought the same sofa model from Joanne LOVE the back support....*thumbs up!* Was comparing mango vs angel....very diff style but a good sofa helps u maintain posture when u r in "comfort" cross leg mode.
-
Ahh Thank You for the address!!! Will go shop!!! Weee

$4.75 is not cheap indeed...imagine 20 pairs of shoe = 10 x $4.75 ....OMG And HTB wonder why I have to put in a shoe box in the first place...hee *neat mah!* Is the plastic box firm enough? Looking forward to see your idea Thanks Ivy!!!
