you mentioned that you're doing contra? from what i understand, doing contra, the 'official' duration between 1st appt to 2nd appt is 8 weeks. i'm doing contra, and mine is 8 weeks.

I agree. renovation house and shifting around is already very tiring. Now even have to oversee, check, and not say few hundreds dollars leh. Mr Yeak is one good contractor. knows how to manage his time, workers and say "NO" when he cant handle. Really hope those who are going to engage Uncle, think twice. He is good. but we on our end, must also be very tolerant. and write the HO date in BLACK and WHITE, else compensate. We must learn to protect ourselves =)

I'm not uncle fan, not on anyone side. But when i was looking around for contractors and IDs, no one dare to say 1 mth renovation is sufficient. All told me need at least 8 weeks as i'm doing an overhaul (hack every tiles and all from scratch) cos fast jobs may result in sloppy work. I'm not sure why uncle promised gaku that he can deliver at that time. Perhaps he really can, until suddenly, he becomes so popular. from what i read from the forums, he has many sub-contractors, and kept changing. (correct me if i'm wrong) all these results in work held back, and when workers were rushed to complete their work, and get h*ll from uncle if they don't do well or in time, human nature, the workers don't feel good. And in the end, they give sh*t to the owners. From dirtying the toilet bowl, using the bath towels, etc, these workers should know that they are not suppose to be doing it. but it seems like they did it on purpose, venting their anger?? And who suffers? Gaku. Uncle is aware that he is going to get h*ll from you. but perhaps on his end, he really can't find help? or perhaps he got other reasons/ excuses. So he chose to run away from it, or maybe he really don't know how to face you, so drag the time. Especially now, you told him if HO delay, he will have to 50-50 the rental, and perhaps movers, then, i guess, imo, he might just forget about the remaining payment. those who got him earlier are really lucky. but at the end of the day, he is afterall a contractor. he need profits to pay sub-contractors and workers. if too much ding-dong, and eating into his profits, then he might just react differently. then in the end, you suffer. those who don't have to rush uncle, always end up having their jobs done well...or acceptable. and it is not fair why always you - getting all those sh*t. Some might feel that, well, you gave him short time to do reno, can't blame uncle - its like giving him a mission impossible. But he was the one who promised, and you trusted him, then now you getting craps, your bear all sh*t, he just get screams from you. IMO, instead of waiting for uncle, approach another contractor. if need to, I can give you mine. He's a nice uncle, and i'm sure listening to your situations, he might be able to help.. my 2 cents. sorry if i offended any Soon-fans

Option 1 is nice. lines are clean and gives a soothing + class feel. Option 2 looks like a maze. If one have a bad day, will feel more 'pek chek' looking at that. my opinion =)

you have very nice 3d designs. my id refuse to give me a copy, say copyright. lolz. anyway, your common toilet, i vote for Option 4. It gives the person a very calm and peaceful feel and a tinge of class...and match with you house color?

the lock, can use kopitiam card....means anyone can go in? or is there a configuration to be done to the card? trashley, 400+ without intsallation. it is very easy for us to self install??

Blue diamond, maybe you can also consider Plasma if don't watch TV for long. cos LCD though nicer, sleeker in design....but no good for eyes.... and yeah, 32" looks small. hubby wanted get one for his gaming...but he say small...not shiok to play. so looking for someting below 1k, 37"-42"

haha...i still tot i was the one with tat eye pain symptom.... u mean Kuro bought a LCD...but price not cheap, or a Plasma, price not cheap? I was at best denki, in fact a 50" plasma still about 4999 for a Panasonic. Of cos, compared to 52" LCD, which will cost more than 10k, plasma still cheaper. And those like Hitachi, fully Made in Japan, also not cheap. Brands like SONY, also assembled in Malaysia le.....now very few Fully made in Korea and Japan le... I also don't sit in front of the TV for long, the most is 7-10pm? so i guess electric bill wont shoot high bah.

but when i watch tv on LCD for too long, my eyes very tired n pain. Anyone share the same after effect as me? Cos it is like staring at a PC monitor whereas Plasma really soothing for the eye. this is one of the pros Plasma have over LCD. yeah i agree LCD more energy saving...but.......

Went check out TV @ Best Denki Vivo hubby and I checking out the Plasma TV cos it seems like if we getting anyting bigger than 42", LCD doesn't have the same clarity as Plasma especially on the motion pictures. We were also told that a rough gauge for viewing distance from TV 50" TV about 3 metres. 32" TV about 2 metres. Anything nearer will result in TV to big for viewing =) Is this true?

yah, really love the pink alot. but ID say very diff to put into my house. hubbby so happy to hear that cos it cost $17 psf..... haha.... Tiles chose for house...... 800x800 Super Gloss Black Homogeneous tiles (not pure black) this is the best angle i can take the tile picture.... Matte White tiles for kitchen floor and wall Floor tiles - 600x600 Wall tiles - 300x600 After FSM viewing, kitchen will be all white. Toilet tiles 300x600 will have these 3 combi. ID will design and finalise the 3D layout and colour combi by next week Pink Mosaic - I love this But don't how to put into the house... Take a look Bosch Fridge. Like this cos no handles and it is whitte..can match my kittchen cabinets

I like your "Business" Area - I like the feel of it. It will definitely feels good doing business there. and the Black and White kitchen - very nice. I'm also having a black and white kitchen. Really hope the end result will be as good as yours =)
