Master Bath 3rd layers of waterproofing applied. Common Bath

Doesn't mean it will be hidden inside we can short cut it by not doing it. Its common to some that since the cabinet or box up will hide, they don't do it cos save some material cost to them. Quite often when I do other projects, after dismantle old kitchen cabinet (especial condo) there is no tiles at the back of the cabinet at all.

We use water level measurement and laser to check the walls...trying to make all the walls as striaght as possible.

While waiting for the waterproofing to dry....start doing the plastering for the kitchen walls. Hardworking worker at work.....1 man show...do waterproofing liao do wall plastering, do wall plastering liao, do waterproofing....eat lunch half an hour only...

The worker while doing plastering found this side of the kitchen doorway's wall not striaght so I just ask him to make it straight as its nicer to see.

Back to job site. Commom bath 2nd layer of waterproofing done up...waiting to dry before applying 3rd layers. Master bath Upturn the waterproofing more than 100mm.

Loading the tiles into my car..... Thanks god, check the tiles before going, found 2 chipped off tiles. If not got to come out own pocket money liao.

Went to Hafary this morning to purchase and self-collect some shortfall tiles for the owner. "Tiles mountsin, tiles sea"

If i'm not wrong...$38K reno, holding last payment of 10% = $3.8K, think fencer should be holding close to this amt. So for this amt to source it out for other to do, if need to, for that area only, most likely, others will charge higher than normal. Still need to take into consider of the window grille too and lastly the touch up paintwork after installation.

$90~$120 not conceal. u only need 1 20amp air-con isolator point for all the units and use an electrician not contractor. If u want PUB inspection mean that u need to engage a LEW to do the wiring, diagram and submit the application to SP services for inspection date. 1st time free, if failed the inspection, the next time asking them to inspect will be charged a fee. Normally ask for inspection is for whole house re-wiring, but for a point only, yes u can ask for it.....if u think worth it.

To put it fairly, actually fencer is not a fussy owner already. All he want is just to redo the window only in the 1st place not to mention about the crack of the wall tile or the hairline cracks beside the door frames, the scratches of the kitchen cabinet doors or the slow drainage of the water, he willing to DIY or accept the fact...but its just that suddenly Herny wanted to go thru legal way to get the balance payment make him feel (which I think)......being a man also got ego meh, kanna threaten with a lawyer letter... I've met up with fencer, I had saw all the defects, I've also talked to fencer. Henry & I are of the same trade, its not nice for me to comment on him. But I do hope Henry is able to sit down, talk to the owner and solve the issues peacefully rather than both parties goes into legal suit. I also do hope that other forumers don't mistaken on fencer of being unreasonable or too fussy cos I've seem a bigger pics than u all. It takes two hands to clap, but if one of them is not willing to, things will just get too ugly. Bro Simon pls help to talk to Henry about it, u have been always helpful to a lot of forumers which I knew of. All its need to do is both parties talk nicely, solve the issues, close the case...everyone will be happy. A win-win situation for both.

1 of the material needed to doing waterproofing which some had cut corner without it. Although doesn't mean using normal cement then used Quick Seal to lay on top of it cannot but its more ex. to use this. Others can tell u it the same, but I can said it do make a lot more different. I had my reason for not being the cheapest or cheaper quote than others to my customers, it was the material used. They paid me to do their house, even thou they are a layman on reno, doesn't mean that I'll short change them just to earn more profit.

Present new rubbish chute from HDB... New heavy duty rubbish brought to replace it as promised.

Bonding agent...or they call W1..."Milk"..etc....use it to mix with cement for better strenghtening.

Tiling already started....will post the pics later cos just got back from work. Tiles broken I asked the tiles shop to replace me with new tiles tomorrow cos it was only the white tiles at the common bath cracked not the black one.

Normally house owner is at work during weekdays and can only check the reno progress in the night. As the electrical supply had turn off, so update it here for them to know the progress of the works. Its also convenient for them to know it if they are not free to drop by, just a click on the computer.

A small unforesee problem arise. 17 tiles found to be cracked after dismantling the boxes. Need to call up the tiles shop to replenish the tiles if not will delay the work process. Need to let the tiles absorb water before tiling it up.
