Seldom company will charge house owner contractor price cos this is our trade secret, once we know it, we won't intro customer there at all cos this is our another source of income and the rules had laid down long ago.

For a hacker to park his lorry per day under the blk to disposal items....he need to pay $75 to the town council (other town councils collect different charges), to disposal items to the designated centre, he need to pay another amount....so what will be the cost like. I'm sorry to come to know your granite top issues too late, if not able to save u some $$$ in asking the factory ppl to measure, cut, polish and install for you. Stay positive......whatever loss will gain double back in the future....God is fair.

Had meet up with ah soon, jesslyn's hubby and the other house owner. The house owner was kind enough to actually willing to pay for the remaining amount as long as the rest of the unfinished works are completed. I'm sorry to post that there is still ard $3K left cos when I told him to collect the remaining amount of $200+, he fly me and hse owners aeroplane (called don't want to listen, waited 3hrs for nothing). He is famous for his flying but sorry, to me I've no time for him to waste, I rather use the time to help 1 hse owner clear the chocked sewage piping due to sabo by his sub-cons. And maybe $200+ is too small amount to attract him, so I posted $3k and immediately got his call and he reached the appointed place on time. As now money is a very sensitive issues and as I'm not earning anything, I need to be clear with the account to ah soon and the hse owners and make sure all the sum is accounted for. And by right it was left ard $3k from this owner, but the money had used it up at jesslyn's house, that why jesslyn's hubby was there too (paid for the electrical, windows grille, plumbering works, rubbish chute, etc). Sorry again for that post but still feel that rather give him $3k when nobody know about that at all, I used the money to do up jess's place so that she can at least move in even thought is without any carpentry work, kitchen top, sliding doors, etc...

Its not ah soon people, it was my plumber...that day was a last min. job I ask him to do for jess. He 1 person can't carry the 1 piece WC so he dragged it with the box.....thinks maybe there are stone or sand underneath and he didn't know about it. Anyway, will help jess to solve the issues. The balance after paid to the sub-cons left ard $3k.......ya...he really called me immediately, told him $200+ don't want to come down and take....tell him $3k...straight away called me. I need to arrange with the hse owners and him to make sure all the invoices (from the sub-cons to me) are all laid clearly to both of them, can't afford him to fly aeroplane, if later he not going to meet up with me as per arranged, the balance I will use it on another hse owner.

Being a neutral party, Ah Soon, the hse owner and I had seated down and agreed that as long as Ah soon completed all the works (actually left some only), the hse owner will pay the remaining amount to Ah Soon and end the whole issue. So now the works completed, the owner willing to fork out the remaining amount and the money will thru me then to Ah Soon. Although all the remaining works were done by my sub-cons....but I still need to account everything to both parties so as how much will be the remaining amount to return to Ah Soon. Still have ard $3K....don't know he still want to take it not?

Only a few know how to differential a China granite and other countries granite.....although they have different grains of natural stone colour inside the slab, one is more colourful than the other.

1 of the hse owners still hold on to the last payment, only left some uncompleted works. So I took over and completed the works and the left over $ got to give back to ah soon.

That no such granite as China black galaxy. Black galaxy granite is all from India. China....shanxi black, G684, G301, etc... Oh ya btw he just called me to collect money.

Granite come in many origin...made in China granite and made in India, Italy, Finland, Norway...etc cost differently, so is their thickness. Actually all the saying above is very individual points of view. You look it at another way, the saving vs the time you need to supervise, go purchase the material yourself, coordinate the work....how much does every house owner know what to buy, how much to buy and how to coordinate who come first. Whoever you engage is they come 1 time service...when it come to design and work...sometimes the workers need to come back 2-3 times just to compromise to the design. And btw...contractor don't earn commission from the painting co. and your false ceiling for your toilet is expensive (u kanna carrot liao). ID/contractor as long as they earn it honestly....I believe some other house owners will still prefer them to do it, not because they charge higher, but was more of their services that they provided. This is just my points of view.
