jaskel replied to nawilf's topic in Living, Dining & Storage
U r welcome, just happen that I got 10 over Home magazines as I'm doing my house reno now. Read more gain some ideas. -
This is my new home, to be completed and move in next week. My whole house drawers and cabinets are using Blum system... actually is not that expensive as my carpenter are able to get it cheaper.
-
Hi aunty, I really hope u can get over with it. Sometime things just don't go your way as it is. As you need to find help fast and totally have no ideas on it, that when other will try to take advantage on it. Mistake made and learn from it make u a wiser person next time.
-
It really depend on the quality of the materials/laminates used. This my feature wall, still under construction.
-
Thanks rendell, I'm very impress with the Blum system, everytime I went to check on my reno, I'll play with the drawers and cabinets..
-
Techno gas hob, no bad...used it on my previous flat for 6yrs no problem. Presently installing Brandt induction and convention hobs for my new house.
-
The pressure coming out from storage tank will be greater that all...u can also use normal heater no problem (Had tried it out today for my rainshower, can't on the 3 functions together as not enough water pressure).
-
Ok johnivy, will go to my new house to take some photos tomorrow morning and evening time. Most of the photos I had now are more on the outlook rather than the points itself. Some I'm using LED lights.
-
Hahaha...your hubby just like me don't want ID cos the house should be what I want it to be not the ID (My family and I will be staying there not the ID, so is my comfort feeling)....I read 10 over magazines to get ideas before doing my house now. It almost completed soon. But I realise painting need a few coats and will be the last thing to do when all furniture are in (cos the movers may knock here and there, dirty or worse hit and crack the wall).

When I wanted to do laminated flooring for my whole house flooring, I checked thru the website also and came across Pergo. I'm was very impress with the materials and the explanation of their material. That why I convinced my wife on using Pergo (Branded stuff but expensive than other at that time). But ....Can only said it my luck...Now doing renovation on my new house, I using another wood feel flooring.

hi johnivy, my whole house doing (1991sqft) appt electrical stuff, include whole house re-wiring, lighting, power points, switches, etc (concealed). Is not even more than $6K lor...so I thinks it very expensive. If u want, I can even post pics of the lighting in n u can see for yourself. Using MK switches somemore.

Even if somebody was to advise u on the price of the job, what are u going to do. After all, it already been paid for, what done cannot be undone. The only thing is to black list this person only. No offend, just my own point of view. In the first place, for this type of cracked tiles and using only cement to patch up, shouldn't be looking for contractor at all. They will charge u higher becos they are the middleman.
