Thanks for the compliment. Tiling on these box-up actually need different grade of cement and tiler's skill I think. (*I heard that from an old contractor*) As the surface of the box are different and tiles have to be firm to the surface to prevent slip. Need more effort than our usual wall tiles to support them before they stabalize. Hmm....so if you don't see me around posting....that mean...tiles likely have drop down to my head. lols. Let you know if that really happens..lols.. I hope it will not happen.. But I also doubt so la..

Will you be installing air-con in the living room? If yes...might have to install another door in the balcony... If not, I think is fine. Hm...for me will be shoe cabinet as what Ivy said...and entrance to living room will put a a string curtain...those string kind? Hmm..I don't know how to desc.

Contractor address their concern to us, but we took the risk. The daily affair or chances of leaking usually happen on the top of the drainage...therefore, we didn't cover up...we are using a plastic type kinda of cover...(*the current new flat's toilet which uses it*) for inspection should this happen. HDB hmm...might re-pipe..I did thought of it...but again we took the risk also..I don't know whether I have an option to re-pipe or not when the day comes thou. But, like a lot of others, we received advices from parents, aunties....uncles...forummers...not to hide drainage and certain areas... but we took the risk. Calculated risk or perhaps like some might said, plain craziness? I don't know.. lols.

I wouldn't say u are dumb... Is the feeling you step into the flat....I am sure you like the flat..if not, u wouldn't purchase. This is priceless. Look forward your reno journey.. It is a unique floor plan to me.
