After much consideration, we have decided to proceed with LSH, thou, i must agree, their prices are alittle way above the budgt, esp for their MOSAICS! love their SILVER / aLUMInium ones! we were introduced to the new WHITE living 60x60 homogenous tiles, costing $3.50 psf! being a sucker for extreme whites, i have decided to proceed with them (call it vanity) ok, these tiles are for COMMON TOILET. MBR TOILET LIVING KITCHEN MINI FLIGHTS OF STEPS TO FLAT HHAHAHHA... joke of the YEAR i called uncle up minutes ago, ahaha.. he cant rush to apply my permit, tomorrow's DONG TU, called offf...hahaahhah... can only start FRI??

one question to ask all of you... at which point of time did you guys ask the aircon installers to come?? gosh.. we realised we hv not bought the essentials, like aircon, toilet stuffs, and kitchen stuff, and i just reminded HTB that these stuff have a delivery date too...went over to Gain City to get the system 3 yestrd..and was told that installation can only be done on 1st JUNE! gosh..isnt it too late?? then salesman suggested that we shldnt HIDE hte trunkings inside the false ceiling and all. but isnt it very ugly to see big trunkings ALL OVER??? when shld we get the rest of stuff like kitchen & toilet essentials ?? paiseh.. cozz... soo busy with kid's preps for exams this week and havnt had time to do much.. started panicking only yesterday went we were shopping leisurely and remembered to pop by Gain City.. *panic button and signal uPZ*

thank god! we specificially went down to Winter on Sat to ask them to sign on some admendments that we countered sign and Fax across the other time, so worried they will pull a fast one on us and said they did not received the AMENDED copy and will deliver us the wrong sofa. also specifically mentioned to them that their delivery services has been in the very bad light, and they should do something about it, and they said something like " their delivery DEpARTMENT is outsourced!!!!" gosh..crossing my fingers and toes... well.. nevertheless... its picture time for you! do show us your creations! we love to see them!

family of 4:- i agree with you. gal from LS kept repeating this is ex... ya da ya da...so in the end.. i chose some tiles that day when i visited... came back..and kept tinking abt it.... still felt that there shld be better ones around.. until i read this forum today..and realise .."hey ..silly me.. as long as i hvnt place an order..i can cancel.." so ..LSH tiles are definitely classier.. nicer.. and pretty wide spread ...i reckon i will get from them instead.. though personally felt their prices a little higher.. but THEIR mosaics are NICE! went over to halafry along the way.. not quite my cup of tea.. i guess it really boils down to the service...

oh man.. i better call uncle not to order from them yet... goin to take a look at balestier during lunch...

aubrey, where is LSH.. i went SL to select tiles this tuesday.. i din really like them le...how.. but i selected already...can cancel??? my project only start next month 18th i tink... i LURVE mosaics..but SL has SOOOOO limited ones... where else can i see...??

one qn to ask all uncle soon's customers did you go one shop to select your tiles? or a couple? honestly..i din quite find those tiles like at sin lek.. (esp the mosasic ones) they have very limited selections... wandering if we should go for black matt tiles for kitchen area while keeping white kitchen..

we bought the white tv console with the display shelf (2.9m long), tink its abt 1.8k or something, and we custom made the sofa to a 3 seater - 2.24M (without the L) and added a footstool.. instead.. i tink tatx why.. plus the dining table (1.2M) is extendable. .. i am like crossin my fingers and toes.. who was your sales person?? they better not deliver the WRONG sofa to me.. i'll keep you posted again.. i should have done my homework more...

oh dear mafia_lim, sorry to hear your unhappy experience with winter... oh oh.. i already signed up with them for a white tv console and the sofa, and dining table. all abt 5k.. ! we changed our orders twice, i hope they do not mix up my order.. i only chanced upon the poor response abt them AFTER i bought... maybe you can look for the boss, mr lee. instead and make some noise.
