Hi Simon, We interested in getting this color for the wall behind our tv console...can know wat is the code for the paint? And what brand?

Hehe thanks...still got a lot of things dat need to be done with the hse...can't wait to see my kitchen the most! Tomorrow will be submitting the choice of laminate and solid top to Patrick. Will be submitting the choice of floor laminate for bedroom and study room also. I just worried abt the paint colors dat we have chosen...scared it wun be the color we think it is... By the way, your reno completed oledi? I saw the tiles for your bathroom...really like the grey floor tiles!

Hehe yea...maybe that's why the bathroom is currently my fave spot in the house But got a problem lor...scared they might put up the sink too near to the bathtub until it "spilled over" to the bathtub cos they have already erected the pipe too near to the bathtub liaoz...so tomorrow need to tell Patrick and see if he can move it a little bit to the right....

Thanks Rasp and ossify for your input We have decided to go for 3 lights in the living room (inclusive of the one attached to the ceiling fan). But the two lights at the side will be those smaller, white light while the ceiling fan light will be more of the yellowish, ambience kind. As for our bathrooms, unfortunately we won't be able to install 2 wall lights anymore cos it will be hard to hide the wiring and it will look really ugly running down our tiles. So we will just have a ceiling one with yellow light instead to create the soft effect that we want. We are also trying to decide on the paint color now...anyone who has painted their wall these following colors wud like to share pics wif us? Quite difficult to choose colors when we can't see how they look like on walls... Urban Grey (Nippon) Smoky (Nippon) Cotton White (Nippon) Ivory (Nippon) Natural Cane (Nippon) White (Dulux)

Hmm is your renovation still ongoing with him? If yes, maybe should wait until after it is completed before you start providing your feedback. Who knows, it might improve from now on. Also if it is still on-going and you share it here, things might become even worse... Just tread carefully...I believe this is a sensitive matter as it concerns his business reputation. Share when you feel comfortable doing so...but I also agree with others that better not to share via PM.

Hehe thanks...can't wait for the whole thing to be done! Now like super suspenseful...dunno wat I am going to see next! So far, my fave has to be the bathrooms...the kitchen floor tiles a bit too "concrete like" for my taste but hopefully will look alright once the dust is swept off and the cabinets have been erected...

Seperator Betwn The Door Entrance And Living Room
worldangel replied to poorteristic's topic in Living, Dining & Storage
I am getting a display cabinet from IKEA to separate the foyer area (the area rite in front of the main entrance) and my living room. So it will look sth like this: we have a partition wall behind the cabinet because we are constructing a study room in the midst of our living room. The cabinet itself only costs ard 100 to 200, depending on the size u get. -
I think I read in his/her previous reply that the flat is somewhere ard the BTO area?
-
Yup, mine is a 5 room. Just need to pao an ang pow with $485 inside. Make sure you put the cash inside the red packet, he is quite particular about that. His phone no is 97288872

Not sure about Master Zhang cos I engaged Mr Chang. So far he has been very prompt in answering all the sms and emails which i sent to him for further inquiries after my consultation with him. So I would say he provides great after sales service. As for the effect of the arrangement advised by him, I can't say much as I have not moved into my house yet. But he never asked me to buy any feng shui items from him. But do be prepared to change quite a lot of the arrangement of furniture or even the layout of your house if you want to follow all of his advice...

ic...so good, can decorate your own house with your own artwork then
-
Haha me also...one of the reasons why we got this clock to put in the kitchen... Are you a painter?
-
Reminds me of the wall clock I have purchased for my own house...
-
My house going to be mostly white and gray as well... But quite tricky to choose the correct shades of gray!
-
Your house is very close to mine! Mine is near the 888 plaza side We also considered your area but most of the houses there are out of our budget... I love the living room, especially the TV console and the ambience there. Currently redoing my own house

Why the moody house?
