Finally it's here: the floor plan of the house They are quite fast in sending it out... The store has been divided into two: one half is a prayer's room the other half being a storeroom. Still not sure if we want to place our altar in the prayer's room, need to get advice from feng shui master first.

Yup...my parents in law live in the same town also... Now agent trying to help us apply for additional housing grant but a bit confused on how they calculate the income part...gross income is it inclusive of cpf amount? Anyone who has applied before would care to shed some light on this? TIA!

Haha my house is just right opposite of 888 plaza! Somehow I fell in love with that plaza from the first time I started looking at house around that area...I still remember the first block I went to look at was blk 602. Ever since then, I told my agent I am concentrating on all the area that is within walking distance from 888 plaza

Haha I am also curious now that you brought it up...is it because the duck rice is very nice? Have to say I am a big fan of roasted duck rice, am always on the look out for nice one. Which food court is this stall located at?

charemme> Yup we now only budgeting around 10 to 15k at most for reno cos we blew a lot of cash on the price of the house. Anyone knows how much does it cost to relaminate kitchen cabinets and change the handles? Yea, right now there is nothing we can do but to pray that everything will go smoothly... yup, we paid cov of 6k...plus our loan + grant + cpf not enuff to cover everything, so we need to pay additional 5k to cover as well. So total cash that will be spent is quite high, that's why we hope our renovation cost can be minimized...

Super nice house...very impressive reno. For a second I thought it was an unit in condo...the reno makes te house looks so big and spacious! Especially love the living room, mbr toilet and the balcony.

This is definitely the biggest 5 room I have seen so far...126sqm...maybe got bigger one but will be much more expensive haha. Think we got the flat for a steal at 320k

I try and see if I can extract the pictures and put them up using imageshack or something...but think Sunday definitely will be able to post somemore pictures cos will be bringing my parents to see. My parents in law are pretty pleased with the house as well...so we exercised our option to purchase on spot hehe. True, I need to be more optimistic in my thinking!
