coffee_o dun worry about what others said...just trust your contractor because after all, you have chosen him. If everything is going smoothly now then dun need to worry too much about it yet, unless got some warning signs coming up (ie unable to contact for a long period of time, fly aeroplane frequently etc) then you can start to take certain precautions...

My opinion is the ex-Sooners are not in wrong...some of them are just lucky to get Ah Soon during his "better" time. They also didn't know that Ah Soon would get into this state because nobody can predict the future... To be fair to them, they did warn forumers about Ah Soon's "pattern"...I was one of those who were warned. I had mentioned during my early days of looking for contractor that I was quite sure I would like to engage Ah Soon due to his competitive price. But I remember pinkpetter asking me to look around first before settling on him because Ah Soon has a tendency to delay and "fly aeroplane". I did call him to ask for a quote and he said he would get back to me but when he didn't, I figure I couldn't work with this type of contractor and proceeded to approach other IDs and contractors. No one but us can make the final decision...and once it is made, we should take full responsibility for it. I am really sorry to hear about the plight of some homeowners who are now stuck in this situation...hope everything can be solved soon and just take this as a lesson learned... Sorry if I offend anyone...

Hmm your bifold door looks the same as mine...I mean the color and the frame look quite similar. Except I dun have that two small squares but I do have something in the middle which is a handle I need to pull up...can be quite inconvenient and noisy...

Think can forget about the $80 which I tried to claim from Ho Bee le...no news from them until now... And feel quite bad if I keep calling them to ask for it also...

yea but when we brought the order form to the counter they should at least detect that the ink is incompatible...luckily now they agree to mail a new set of ink to my hubby so dun need to go down to exchange... We didn't spend much time at the expo also...cos most selling TV wich we already bought...You all know that in Hall 3 there is a John Little sale going on? I think I spent more time there instead

Sigh...I despise someone who can be so 'evil' as to make so many homeowners so unhappy and stressed about their renovation...I suggest that you bring this issue up to the police or media soon...don't be lenient towards him anymore otherwise you will all continue to wait and more and more will become victims...let him learn his lesson... See if you can get some compensation but if not, afraid you would have to move on and get some other contractors to help you finish up the rest...do the important stuff first and slowly finish up the rest...at least that way you can move in... good luck...you have the support of all of us here...
