Hi Pinkpetter, know that you're a teacher at others' t-blog. June holiday started, excited? My sis is also a teacher but teaching Chinese language in Pri Sch. Hope I able to persuade Kiwi to start renovation early. I'm already eyeing on a L-shaped sofa!!! Haha...

Hi Ivy, You waited for how long to get the quotes last time? If Uncle needs more time to draft, I'm ok one. Just worried he'll find me irritating, keep rushing him for quotation althot my ah lao wanna start renovation after Ghost Month. We wish can confirm him asap if his quotes meet our budget then pay him deposit immediately and relax to wait for the renovation day to come, let Uncle clear his current projects too.

Finally married to Kiwi 2 days ago! Going to persuade him to change his mind as he insists to start renovation after Ghost month. Met Uncle yesterday. Suppose meeting him at 8pm, but he requests to meet at 4pm+. Luckily Kiwi & I were at West Mall after our 2nd appt with HDB. When we were waiting for uncle under the blk (our new nest), chatting, wondering whether Uncle will "fly us plane", I spotted a green van. I guess it must be Uncle's van as I read the description from a forummer. He's indeed friendly, have the kinda "father" feel, no distance at all. But he looks like very rushing. He took my floor plan, walked around our nest, taking down some notes. Then he asked, "When you want to start?" Kiwi: "After Ghost month, can? As I have ICT in July, and we are going to TW in June." Uncle: "... Ok, then I'll send you my quotation first, when you back from your ICT, then you see whether wanna engage my service ba. I have sth on, have to make a move first." Then he left. Kiwi and I stayed in our nest awhile and left too. Saw his green van still at the carpark, and Uncle was chatting with another uncle (seem like a contractor too). I think there's an unit having renovation in the same blk. Thought he was rushing to somewhere else??? I'm worried that he'll drag the quotation as Kiwi insists to start after Ghost month...

Hi Poseidon_Gal! Yes! I'm looking forward too. Abit pissed off with my hubby (we're officially married 2 days ago!). He wants to start renovation in Oct (So LATE!!!). But no choice... He is the one paying for the renovation...

Hi Ivy, if hubby Kiwi is ok with this design, I might look for Systemind Platform. Their products are designed for storage. Will visit their shop at Esplande one day. If they charge very high, I'll 死了这条心, no platform... (已经没有落地窗了... sob sob...) Hi Pinkpetter, have you been online-ing this whole day? You replied my posts in this morning, afternoon and night!!! Hee... Don't mind my sofa will be smaller if I can get a platform. For the measurement, will consult uncle on 28th. Hope he can remember our appointment.

If we buy the unit at 3rd floor, I'll be able to have a living room similar to the picture below... But Kiwi insists higher level... sob sob... Same block, but diff layout of living room...

Edited my floor plan using Fireworks (software). The "island" concept of the kitchen is an idea provided by a creative ID & magazine. But he is not in our list because he quotes too high. I like the living room, but Kiwi said the TV feature wall makes the living room look smaller. He strongly disagrees... He has no comment for my another piece (below): Original floor plan (below): Last night he told me he prefers Pinkpetter's "Half Height Shoe Cabinet cum TV Console" idea. Hehee... We plan to start our renovation in end of Sep. 28 May get the keys. We are leaving for TW to watch Namie's concert in June. Kiwi has in-camp training in June. His buddy is coming back from US for few weeks too. After all these have done, ghost month is approaching. Can only wait unit the period is over, then we can start to renovate. Uncle Ah Soon is getting more and more 抢手. I told Kiwi how worry I am. He suggested we can ask uncle to view our nest and quote 1st. If we are satisfied with his quotation, we can sign him on the spot and pay deposit first. But Sep then start renovation. GOOD idea! But worry uncle will not agree this kinda "预约" method or he might forget about our deal (他可是当红炸子鸡哦！).

Yesterday went to see furniture too (Too Gan Jiong, haven't got our keys yet), intend to look at L-shape sofa, end up got persuaded by Unisprings (IMM) boss, paid deposit for a Queen sized mattress and bedframe. The "Latex" mattress is comfy and the bedframe is ok, easy to liftup for storage. $2779 with two pillows, protector, free delivery, GST wavied... Hope its a good buy. Told him delivery date within these 6 mths as we havent collect keys yet... He said "okok". Haha... pinkpetter: Smart girl! Jia You! Getting the keys on 28 May 2009. So excited! It is an old 4A flat. Slightly younger than us. Haha... Have to look around for $ lor~* Floor Plan (Headache... Totally clueless where to place my dream L-shape sofa) Kiwi and I are aimming so-called "Superstar" Uncle Ah Soon. We don't mind to join the long queue since we not intend to renovate so soon too. $$$$$$$$$ ley... Unless Uncle Ah Soon can quote us within our budget (hee). Thanks for visiting our blog.
