The service balcony..still in a mess... My custom make area which comes with a drainage and a spray for my dog to pee..Makes cleaning and washing alot easier! Common toilet.. Common toilet selving etc.. MBR toilet And omg..realise the photos are too big but I'm lazy to resize. Btw, our renovations were handled by Uncle Winson.

During the long long duration of the forum maintenence, my kitchen n 2 toilets are almost done!!! Parents choose Tau Interior in the end and I must say his workers are fast!!!! Shall post of pics when its fully completed. =D

I msg my parents Uncle winson's contact this morning at 4am...and when i just called them, they said he has already gone to the hse for the measurements. meaning they called in the morning and he pop by asap. I like his efficiency. Now waiting for his quote. =D

Have been reading the forums and blog section for the past 2 weeks and decided to register today as there are some queries I have. My parents are intending to renovate our house kitchen and the 2 toilets. So far they have more or less decided on this interior firm just that yet to sign the contract. Currently we are interested in their 1 kitchen 2 bedrooms package but I feel that a few of the Additional works are kind of expensive. Additional Works quoted to us. A) Demolish Works 1. To hack off existing window panels at kitchen area. $100 2. To hack off partial exisiting floor tiles at 01 common room (12sq/ft) $80 3. To hack off 1 additional kitchen cabinet (lenght 6ft) $100 B) Masonary Works 4. To supply and lay 300mm x 300mm ceramics floor tiles at 01 common room (12sq/ft) $120 C) Carpentry Works - Kitchen(Laminate Finish) 5. Kitchen cabinet (lenght 1800mm/6ft) $720 6. Supply and install solid surface worktop (lenght 1800mm/6ft) $650 D) Glass Works 7. Supply and install 10mm thick tempered glass shower screen at common bathroom $750. Anyone able to give me a rough gauge how much you all were quoted for any of the above items? Or any feedback on whether the designer is overcharging us? Read on the forum in a thread that the glass shower screen only cost about $300+??
