My neighbour above my unit is SUPER noisy! They are Filipino FTs tenents (thank to our Gov) who love to drag furniture, slammed the door, drop things heavily even after 1am to 3am, just above my master room. They always invite friends over and sing, laugh happily thru out the night till 4am. I have feedback to HDB several times but no improvement. Worst, the HDB gave them my HP and those idiots SMS me, challenge me to bring them to court if not happy. What should I do? :sad: Thinking of selling my flat but mine is already second loan from HDB...

Any expert here know whether Homo tiles can be polished to restore it old shine?

I think mine is an old model (CS-C9EKZWx3). It is very quiet, especially in low fan mode, can't hear any noise unlike my old super noisy Mitsubishi System 5.

I just installed a Panasonic System 3 which bought from Gaxx Cixx at $1599. The fan coils are so quiet as compare with my previous old Mitsubishi. However, I was really upset with their installer team. One of the installer who fitting up my common room fan coil, forget to connect the unit drain pipe to the drainage PVC pipe. Before they left, they on all the system for me, closed all my room and ask me to have it operate for an hour to test the temperature. Aftetr 1 hour when I open the common room and so shock to see the room flooded with water. The water dripping from the vertical trunking. Immediate called the hotline and was told to wait for the installer team to return and fix the problem. They kept me waited anxiously for nearly 4 hours at home and still can smile to me and said "aiya, I forget to connect and my team mate also never check!"

I understand what you mean, but unfortunately, as the "deadbolt" is on top of the "handle" by less than 100mm but the height for this model e6098 is already 154mm. Therefore it can not be fit at the "handle" position. If I were to swop their position, top is "e6098" and the bottom is "dead bolt". It will be very unslightly due to the difference hole cut and scratch marks. Imagine, a urgly door with a Hi-Tech biometric device. This is why I believed the other "dead bolt" type Biometric device from http://www.bioaxxis.com is more suitable for our original HDB door.

My HDB door got 2 set of mortise. If I demantle all the two mortises/locks and replace with e6098, how am I going to cover the 2nd empty holes?

I think this model: e6098 (come with handle) is not suitable for HDB main door because most of the HDB main door have 2 sets of mortise. As this model: e6098 come with a handle, therefore you need both hand to open the door. One hand to turn the e6098 handle (top) and the other hand to press open the original HDB lock (below).
