U can try getting the materials (wood + laminates + hardware) from ang mo kio. i think there r co selling materials for the interior.

erm... i dont think u shd paint over. if u wanna change the colour y dont you jz buy new laminate and relay. DIY more saving. although u need some skill but it still work. I saw my uncle did it. jz choose a rite laminate and it gv u total fresh look. tell me if u need any recomm. lucks!

Yes! U cud do tht. My uncle uses laminates to relay the existing one but it seems tht there is certain skill u nd to obtain to get it right. Commonly used laminates is Evershine. If u wan u can call the retail branch @ 67480725.

u hv forgotten another co known as Evershine. Fr wat i knw, they r the longest est as compare to them. They hv quite a gd range. honestly, i hv used their laminates via my ID/contractor.

U cud try Staron (from korea) they hv a distributor office in Sing. I hv used it b4 for my kitchen top - looks gd! Price gd... and quality gd. I think U can get better rate from here.

hey!! I knw for 5 ft average is about $280 but this only incl. the cost of solid surface (supply+install). As for laminates, it really depand on the type of choice as i know it cud b range fr $10-$250+ per pc. The co dealing w this is call Evershine - recomm by my frdz.

another option for you: Samsung solid surface or Gloria. samsung's is 100% acrylic which is excellent heat-resistant & flame-retardant. comes with 10yrs warranty and easy maintenance. gloria is the same as samsung's jz the material is polyester instead of acrylic. as compared to granite, solid surface have a lots of colour to choose and if your goin to install in your kitchen, i would suggest marble-like is better.

well, u can change all of your cabinet, door and drawer thru carpenter helps. you can select the lamiante colour and ask the carpenter to buy for you. they might get a good price. for your information silver or aluminium laminate cost is higher then normal colour. range from $80~$130 and what's your kitchen top material?

besides the 2 mentioned company. The other commonly used is Evershine. also scratch resistant. price is more reasonable than seng lee and lamitak. you can try. as the quality is good too. cos my kitchen cabinet is using evershine laminate

Hi! my advice will be solid surface. It's not necessary to go thru ID. you may liaise with contractor. if not you may buy from th solid surface company which they will measure and send the solid surface to fabricator then install in your kitchen. if you need help, i may intro u which brand of solid surface is better. all the best to you!
