Not a problem.. I'm so busy with work the past few weeks (Just got transferred to do Sales, Buying all the household items, and pending items we need in our house (it goes on and on, everyday sure can think of sumthin to buy) and also rectifications for the renovation works.. Wat's more, I havent unpacked most of my stuffs yet.. -___-" Will definitely post up my house's pics (One day soon I hope) Hahahaha.. Havent transferred my broadband connection from my previous place to my new place yet.. kk.. Gotta go back to work..

Finally I've moved in.. Really got no time to load up any pictures.. I was too lazy to take pictures of the progress, so don't have much of those pictures, what I have is the state of my house after reno and now when all the furniture are in.. Still have some minor rectifications here and there.. But Im generally pleased how things turned out lest the time management. Hahahaha..

Calling me soon? No leh.. Didnt get a call.. U told me about my rants ah? Hahahaha... Yeah lor.. Hehe, see, I guessed so that you were not in a hurry.. Else you'd be jumping like me.. Hahaha.. Oh, sleep on living room is bad.. Hope u'd get ur HO soon! I also don't think they can finish the electrical works in 1 day.. Hahaha.. Well, at least I want to see some effort to speed things up.. I already told him that I will have no place to stay.. Seems like he can't do anything about it..

Yo Ivy, I would assume it's the truth since the house was already handed in 6 weeks.. I shant disclose whose house though.. Are you in a hurry to get ur flat? If you are, u seem to take it better den I do.. Hahaha.. My point is, chase also no use, cuz they will do things their way, their time.. I still have a fair bit of small small stuffs not done yet, so I'm pretty worried.. Like the electrical part, supposed to be yesterday and today.. Turned out yesterday didnt start work, they think they can finish installing my 22 downlights, 20 T5 lights, dining, storeroom, 2 toilets, kitchen, service yard and 4 ceiling fans + new switches for the whole house in 1 day? I'm skeptical about any more promises.. I'm crossing my fingers that the electrical works will be at least done if not half done later.. If they tell me they don't have time to come over today again, they will certainly cross my threshold level.. There's a limit to tolerance..

To make things worse, I heard from someone whose works are about twice as much as mine completing within 6 weeks.. Dunno why mine with so much lesser stuffs takes more time.. 6 weeks and can't even HO.. Sianz.. I'm hanging on.. I hope when I get down there later it won't be in the same state as yesterday.. :/

Didnt work leh.. Hahaha.. O/S is more or less carpentry.. Yesterday they told me they will install the lights.. But when I went down, the only thing done was the rubbish being cleared and painting for my pipes and touch up for some areas.. That's all.. Imagine I travelled out of the way to Sengkang to find this.. When my wife called Joseph, all he could offer us was that they were at another unit and can't make it here in time.. But is that my problem? Why make your problem my problem? One day wasted means handover is one day later.. Hai, I chase until I also paiseh liao.. I think Joseph see my hp no. also scared liao.. But den again, I'm more relaxed, my wife wasn't impressed.. If giving them leeway to do their own things results in things not getting done, den I should really give them more pressure everyday until HO.. It's starting to become a nightmare for us.. My friend ("Landlord") told me to throw the ultimatum (like what u suggested) that I will bill my hotel charges to them if I don't get my HO by 27th.. Joseph already told me it's impossible.. Ah Wei will be doing the carpentry only tomorrow.. Then after that there's still the granite top and solid surface.. Haiz.. Thinking about it just makes me more sianz..

Been so long since I've updated this blog.. Have been really busy.. Reno, work and scouting for a new family car.. Hahaha.. My reno's been dragging on for so long.. It's already 5 weeks+, I'm not doing a lot of things, so duno why the delay.. Initial handover date was 27th June, now the carpentry is not even up.. Sianz.. I told Joseph I need the house by 27th, but apparently, things are still moving at snail pace.. I'm renting my friend's place and he needs the room back on the 28th, so currently, I'd be without a place to move to.. Hope my friend will let me stay for a few days more.. I've already extended my stay for a week plus.. -___-"" Sometimes I just feel they don't understand the word urgent.. I'm really very tired to have to pacify my wife and on the other hand have to chase after them.. Sianz.. I shall be frank with my comments.. Things I like I will praise, things I don't I won't.. I understand that they have a lot of works going on, but sometimes when they tell u Monday they will be doing this and this, and when I get to the house at night to check out the works done, it's still in the same state as before.. That really pisses me off.. No one gives me a call to tell me that things will be delayed.. Instead, me or my wife will have to call Joseph to ask him why there are no works done for the day.. And usually they will say the group of workers (say, the most recent one is the electrician group whom will be fixing our lights and switches) is at another unit and can't make it back in time.. It's been at least the 3rd or 4th time I heard this.. Sometimes, they can do only one thing for the whole day.. Which I don't understand why.. Hai.. I just hope I'd see the HO soon.. :/ Wish me luck..

I thought so too.. Primarily the main reason we bought this unit.. It's located somewhere center of all the amenities in Sengkang area.. All within 10 mins walk, Rivervale Mall - 6-7 mins, Rivervale Plaza - 10 mins, CompassPoint - 8 mins.. What's more 7-Eleven below Thanks for your well wishes..

Den use microsoft office picture manager or photoshop to crop it.. Hahaha.. Dat's what I did.. Hope to see more pictures soon.. And good luck on ur reno! Hahaha, maybe next time I can go visit you.. Since Rivervale and Compassvale are so close.. I happen to stay near the church somewhere between compassvale and rivervale along punggol road..

Any Ah Soon fanclub members who did cove lights care to share how were u charged for one row of cove lights? Is it 1 lighting point per row as per Ocheeeng or 1 lighting point per T5 light.. It makes a lot of difference..

I think becuz he's a HDB contractor, hence he is much more contactable and responsible.. But den again, alot of ppl chose Uncle even though he's a "pilot", those that Uncle managed also quite ok mah.. The only problem he has is with keeping time and organising his appointments rite? But Joseph still told me costs for additional stuffs, do liao den say.. I'm very scared now, I scared later end of the reno, bill me alot mroe extra.. I told him I wanted to know before works commence, but he told me uncle too busy, no time to quote us back.. -___-" i'm gonna haggle alot once VO comes.. Hahaha..

Indeed.. He says he's very scared uncle will throw more things at him.. Hahahaha.. I said bo pian mah.. Who ask u do everything sui sui for him.. I asked him about whether Uncle has seen my unit before.. (Actually in my blog in a few pages before I signed officially, I wrote that Uncle has promised he will look into my rectifications and will still be here now and then to view progress, but till date I've yet to see him) He told me, Uncle already left my reno completely to him.. Even costs nego with him direct.. Luckily he's a good PM, if not I'd be fuming about it already.. He says projects that uncle left with him, uncle won't have to worry, and he doesn't give uncle headaches like some of his workers, or other PMs does.. Hahaha..

Oh ya, Aubrey! I asked Joseph yesterday why he's called boh geh... Hahaha, he says he indeed has a missing tooth.. I asked him, one only mah, lidat also called Boh Geh ah.. Den he laughed.. Hahaha.. He said infact everyone knows him as Boh Geh, even HDB most of them knows him as that.. Only Sengkang office knows him as Joseph.. Hahaha..
