Hi, Bleached my bathroom tiles with the cheap NTUC brand (blue bottle) and found white steak stain on the tiles after the wash. Looking at the flow stain, I suspect that the grout (lines between the tiles) was dissolve slight and dried up while flowing down, thus causing the white streak stain. The walls are smooth ceramic while the floor are rough ceramic tiles. I tried to remove them with various household cleaner but did not help. Googled also but did not find much. Please help advise if you have any suggestion or solution. Thanks!

Hi, I am going to put up curtain rail and is deciding on the height to put it. Wanted to check what is the common length of the curtain. So far I've seen 90 inch and 93 inch. I also would like to check how is the length measured? Is it from the rod to the end of the curtain? Cheers Wayne

Hi all, I'm currently doing my renovation with Roy too. He's not pushy and so far he's responsible and also sincere... He's busy but I think so far so good. Saw some problem with the tiling earlier and called him. My common and master wall tiles are of brown and white with some design. The design on the brown tile are obvious but not those on the white one. During tiling, majority of brown colour tile are done properly but not the white one. (Some pattern are at 0 Deg and some tiles are at 180 Deg, making the pattern inconsistent) Though not so noticeable but since we are going to live there, knowing it will be a sore, I request him to take a look and rectify the problem. Next day he went down to take a look and immediately call me to say will change to a consistent pattern. I have yet to see the outcome and will update here again. Cheers

Hi all, I wanted to check when to do what when finding a interior designer. Please help advise on the various milestones. 1. List down to-do list and get a few interior designer to quote. 2. Look through their quote and rough design and improve it. 3. 4. 5. My questions are: When do we eliminate the rest of the ID? When do we get the 3-D design? When can we see their sample flat to have a a feel of the worksmanship? When do we sign the contract? There are many others like buying of bathroom accessories, lightings. Pls help list out to help all those 1st timer like me so that we will not be at a lost what to do next. Thanks!
