  1. for long term... Yes, it's advisable to upgrade, especially if you are buying inverter aircon system (R410A).
  2. Harvey prices are fixed but you can check their staff cost prices... that's the lowest price you can get in market... There are 10 codes in the price tag... heee...
  3. Bought my washer & fridge from GC during their promo... Bought in April'09. Washer: WFT80G00TED - LG Spirit 8kg - $639-$170=$469 Fridge: GR-M492YLY - LG's Ice Beam Door Cooling - $795-$90=$705 Till today i still find other places selling higher than GC promo price... So far, i found that Courts selling their electricals and furnitures quite expensive... (since November'08) But i bought the KingKoil mattress from there (great promo by KingKoil) & Courts selling many models available, free to try... Been to Megastore, quite disappointed... they are clearing old stocks at discounted price (btn 100-300 only), must do your homework, as the models are quite old...
  4. GC's service considered very good, the technicians are experience and friendly. The model we are using now, Fujitsu System-3 Inverter, AOYA24LAT3. $2568. Upgraded to use ArmaFlex & G22. So far no complain, very quiet and cooling!
  5. O.o r u sure? haha... no design de wor... just do those simple reno & kitchen didn't touch at all.. won't give u any + ideas ... haha
  6. Why heartache ah?? >.> now it looks nice, dunno after sometime what will happen lo... first time trying Master toilet pebblewash use white, common use grey tone... I bought it from SLS, Lunar 2 costs $105... The box stated 'Made in Italy' wor... but feel solid la. The installation is done by me, i just asked the contractor to drill 3 holes for me.
  7. Common Bathroom - Completed
  8. woo... u really spend time on visits! My house reno considered DIY le... no design at all... rush out in 3 weeks.. >.> just change those required things..
  9. oh great! Congrats! very near le... hee.. must be very excited lo
  10. haha.. think considered the cheapest and most practical reno le... Flooring work cost around 6k, each toilet ard 3k, paint 1k. Don't forget all tiles are above 3 dollars & include debris/haulage. The pebble wash flooring costs around 350 only. Toilet includes bi-fold door, tempered glass shower screen, WC, basin, taps, pipes..
  11. haha... (standing on the chair)... forgot to take the same area under different lighting... For reno works, Flooring + 2 Toilets (except kitchen) = $13k *Using $3.20 white homo polished tiles, $3/$3.30 toilets' wall tiles Electrical works = $1.9k Ceiling works = $900 So total is $16k. I didn't do anything on kitchen, too expensive >.>
  12. Hi newnyew, actually there were 2 contractors doing our reno, flooring & electrical+ceiling. I'm coordinating both contractors' works... so far everything went very well according to schedule. Maybe due to minor renovation. Attached the latest pix... simple setup, have no time to deco... still busy unpacking... >.>
