Where to by them from? For small windows like toilet? How much do they cost anyway?

I got my Tempur Queen Rhapsody at the Singapore Expo sale for $3500 and it comes with 3 Tempur pilows. We could choose what we wanted. Initially, we were rather worried about the heat issue but there's none. It has been good sleep all the way. Our room doesn't face west but the bed frame is against the west sun wall and we don't switch on the air con at night too. We don't use a thick duvet though, just a cover without duvet inside. Haha... My fiance has lower back problems and it has seemed to help ease his ache a little. We are both side sleepers and sleeping on the mattress has taken the load off our shoulders too. So, I think it's particularly good if you have back and shoulder problems. Wait for the next sale to come up and get the mattress if you can afford the time to wait.

For people with back and shoulder problems, I really do recommend Tempur.

Thank you, we planned for the living room to be neutral and light blue initially but the accent came out darker coz it was hard to find the right pieces. Going to buy our blue cushions from Taobao now to get the right shade. Franc Franc matching TV console was delivered today and we're waiting for the TV to b sent this Wed. Fiance went to buy the latest Samsung Smart TV instead. Going to add posters to the wall above TV so that it won't look so empty.

My Armchair has finally arrived. And this is my living room minus the TV console and TV and wall accessories for now. We went to IKEA and changed the ottoman cover as the previous blue with flower ones clashed with the overall look. While there, we got ourselves a cute light blue lampshade for our lamp.

If I just want the shade without the base, where can I go and how much do they cost usually?

That bed is nice! Raw I saw a nice one at Commune too. It's at Millenia Walk and going for slightly less than $2k I think. Solid Wood. I don't know but that bookshelf we wanted cost about $700 plus.

Their things look good and pricing reasonable but haven't bought their any Mountain stuff yet. We like one of the bookshelves there as seen in my blog here.

My study room curtains are finally up and correctly done. They made a mistake with the previous one, gave me the wrong shade such that my study room appeared greenish yellow and pukish to me. I chose grey and they gave the wrong colour. After which, they called and said the material is no longer in stock. Which wasn't a bad thing at all coz I changed my mind about the colour and wanted a sheer dreamy look for my windows. This room is a little dark and a dreamy lighter feel for curtin would be a better choice, rather than the originally chosen grey and heavier one. I wanted to use the cream colour curtains for my living room as I wanted a cream and blur living room but decided to go with the Khaki/neutral shade for living room instead as it was such a big risk for me. I didn't want to risk the living room curtains blending in with the walls in cotton white colour. So.. it as a mistake to my advantage. I chose this creamy white flowy curtains for my study room after told the previously chosen material was no longer in stock and it did give the dreamy feel. Moreover, the pale shade illuminates the room, making it brighter throughout in the daytime! =)

Maybe drawers are better then but space more limited. I am using a wooden storage one and tempur needs no flipping. No bed hardwork for me then.

This is my 2nd set curtain colour. It's finally a black out one and we asked them to amend the length such that it's long enough to block out the sunlight. Study room one is coming tomorrow. Yippee!! And they're going to steam the living room one too.

I tried collagen drink from Fancl before and it works well. Recently tried DHC one and it's not good for me.

Hi Harriette, PM you on the painter contacts already. The dining table was low $1000 and fitted our budget really well. So hard to find a teak table below $1500 and at the right size. But this was after 20% discount 'coz it was GSS then. BTW, we spoilt the dining table a little last weekend. Left something sticky behind dunno when and when we removed it, the coating came off. It's about the size of a 5 cent coin. Journey East peeps said we can arrange for someone to come repair it and we'll do that. After using the table for a while. Dunno how more careless we'll be so test test first.

OMG, so their quality is actually not that good? The pricing is not that low also for this kinda quality. So disappointed with it. I hope their CS will at least be good then.

We went EJ at AMK again to buy some stuff. Got this super cheap cordless iron at $19, Hitachi CSI58EXS. Also, got the following too: Sharp Microwave R899RS $350 Toshiba TV 50" LED 50L2330 $1099, running a discount at EJ and though review isn't all the fantastic, we thought it's value and got this smart TV anyway. Samsung Sound system F751 $749, think we didn't save much for this but was recommended it and when we did a quick online review search, 5 stars, so decided on the spot and didn't bargain. Thinking back, I should have. Hehe... Now, left the Commune sofa thingy to settle.

Commune inspected our sofa and said to bring back to repair but I find it so unacceptable. We hardly sat on it and it's squeaking, it's obviously a defected piece! Less than a month old somemore. See what they'll say when they call me again tomorrow. I hope.

That's a good idea. How much on average for a cushion cover to be sewn? Any idea?
