Lazybum... our luv for the cabby is gone. Hubby was shocked by the price... and it can't fit in my 10ft ceiling. Another update on the laminate flooring... this morning went to check again cos last evening was a bit dark to see clearly... Not happy with my masterbedroom.. Seems uneven... When Tony came, he also thot that it was unacceptable and ordered the guys to come and redo the whole room! We stood there to ensure that every single piece is remove. Hubby was pleased but the workers and the supervisor's face were super black... I took this photo secretly... Kekekeke...

No... didn't have the time to read T-blog these two days... But just now when I passed by City Square Homefix shop, I did see this. They are selling it at $59.90. I asked if they carry the caddy. They said no. Guess maybe only the big store like MS carries it? U also interested in the caddy? Hubby said might be too ex, maybe we shd just buy SC racks. Stressful day in office... can't even sneak in this forum to speed read some of the updates... But happy when I went to my new place... Surprise surprise.. My laminate flooring are up and all the carpentry stuff are at my living room. Henry is really rushing towards the HO date My dream place is coming to reality! Wld u consider not hacking the wall as the 'ding ding dong dong' of getting the necessary approval might 'eat' into your 5 weeks. Titling, Painting and carpentry work cannot do if hacking not done... Hope to hear some good news from u...

Well said! I also look at the whole package. There are some items that the contractor does charge higher but overall costing still cheaper. Cannot everything cheapest than everyone, rite? He is doing business not charity leh... Also, when selecting contractor, chemistry also important. The feeling must be comfortable and right... BTW, I have LG solid surface top for my previous hse... Still got stain leh...

And mine now 5 weeks and still on-going..... Sigh... COUNTDOWN 2 More DAYS!

Wanted to confirm the colours of the solid surface top when selecting the laminate. But Henry said better to wait for carpentry to be up and match it against the real thing (cabinets & wall tiles). So wait loh... They will be bringing the samples to my place on sat morning... Good for me too...less traveling. I haven't bought my mirror

Reno in process: 21 Jan to 26 Jan (4 days): Hacking <Break for CNY> 14 Feb to 7 Mar (3 weeks): Tiling completed 7 Mar: Aircon 1st installation.Heaters and WC installed (1day). 7 Mar to 11 Mar (5 days): Re-wiring. 10 Mar to 12 Mar (2 days): L Box and False Ceiling 14 Mar to ?? : Painting 19 Mar: Delivery of the lights Just received a sms from Tony. Carpentry will be up on fri (18 Mar), selection of solid surface top on 19 Mar and to arrange for aircon 2nd installation on the 24 Mar.

Went to my place again... and saw tins of ICI paint... Whew... not maxilite afterall...

Yah loh... Yesterday painting and installation of the doors concurrently.... Scared the remover solution might leave water stains on it... I can't believe that I can get so worried over a door... Hee... Hee...

Okie, latest update: The doors are up! Woah... So pretty... but hubby upon seeing it, asked me 'Huh...this one we selected wan meh? So different...like not nice hor?' Faint... We carefully selected the colour and the design together and now he can't seems to recall... Anyway, installed liao... I like it ... Main Door The bedrooms: Then we noticed this.... Maxilite Paint??!!!! How can? I want my ICI!!!!! Jumping up & down... smsed Tony (site supervisor)... the reply was it's for base coat lah... Okie... I accepted it since it's white....

The hacking issue? Think to deal with HDB, it's better for the owner to chase them to get it done fast... Check with your contractor on the problem faced and talk to HDB officer directly... Normally they will give face to owner... Call until they r scared.... Hee...hee....

Congrats! Your 2nd Appt is this coming fri! While going over to City view, u can drop by my place too:) Also, do take care your back leh... u still need the energy to spot check your 5-week reno on & off and final hse moving:) Woah.....

Agreed that barley white is a soothing colour.. That's y is our top choice... Yeah, we need the hse to be as white as possible. Looking forward to seeing your photos:)
