The chinese ratio thingy is based on the whole block if i am not wrong, so even it is a chinese owner, nothing wrong at all since owner may have purchased it quite sometimes, not affected by it. The ethnic ratio may have changed after the owner bought place As for the ad, where do you see it from? those free listing website? Most agents won't have time to remove that, most probably just tell you sold when you call and at the same time get the chance to offer you other listings they have.

just saw 1 enlarged police report in my neighbouring blk at the lift area, also kanna loansharks. You might want to try doing the same thing since currently the police are clamping down on loansharks actively recently

Oh so HDB changed the fire insurer... Anyway for bank loan, if you are not taking the fire insurance provided by them, there will be administrative charge usually ~$100 for 3rd party fire insurer. Noted you will have to ensure the coverage amt is sufficient as deem by the bank and you need to ask your 3rd party fire insurer to add in additional clauses (e.g you do not have the authority to cancel the policy without approval from the bank) for your policy. Check out with your bank first if you are taking bank loan on coverage/administrative charges and the additional clauses required before proceeding.

Personally think that too much drawers and shelving already and railing most probably not enough.... some suggestions MBR: can consider remove the 3 drawers in the centre part and have more drawers below the TV console? Why need so many shelvings near console? you intend to put games console other than TV/DVD player? Common: reduce the length of the 3 long drawers to same length as the shelves on top. Then you can another railing in middle. I think you should have enough drawers 5 x short drawers to put your stuffs. But note any storage extra is good as you never know when you need it...
