i went to jalan besar as i mentioned earlier, only went to adamas and the shop further down. i didnt do much hardcore shopping as we were there quite late. plus we had no knowledge of measurements etc, so when we were approached by the staff and we told them we have no idea about the size, u can imagine the look of disbelief on their faces. i did call uncle but he said just choose what i want and pass it to him and he will get it for me. >;/ a little torn between the two options: 1) pass all model numbers to uncle for him to get it for us and send straight to our place or 2) we buy and arrange it ourselves. growl! we're currently using 2. currently on the market it's mostly 3 i see, hardly see two. if i do get 3, i should be able to cover it to protect and prevent such problems like yours right?

i went to audio house that day to see tvs and boy there's a lot to choose from. i cant decide. as for the hood/hob, just read up here and decided to go for rinnai since it's been around for so long and it should be good. just getting the glass hob (cos easier to clean) and chimney hood as i read its better and long lasting. i dont mind going to take a look first myself, its pretty quick and easy for me. ultimately when it comes to these kitchen stuff, need to get the nod from my mom too. is your franke sink 2 bowl? i hope its matt type. and may i know what is the deal about franke? apart from its brand.. and for WC, is it ok to get just a normal claytan one? the $388 means with the wash basin right? ok let me just check out my area and let u know if i need the details.

okay, i think that will be what i want as well. our switches were separated from the last rewiring. it used to be 4 switches at the kitchen doorway for 2 kitchen light, 1 bath & 1 WC. now bath and WC relocated to the wall nearest to bath. so can add it to the point where the kitchen lights are. arent 2 way switches expensive?? and the Ikea LED light, are those any good? saw it in practically all displays in ikea where there is kitchen cabinet. hmm..

i think my idea of WIW is quite backdated. yours is it like, u open a door to walk into it? cos my idea is an entire space dedicated to it.. for fondue's, maybe cos i was there when the wardrobe door was still not up so i cannot grasp the concept.

guy77 ya i picked the whitest glossy tiles for living & bedrooms cos i like bright airy homes! i hope it works out. and maybe if u have spare time, can pop over to LSH to check it out. i chose some tiles from them. but seems like LSH may have more selections, they can be a little more expensive in terms of common tiles. eg: my light white tiles from sin lek was $3 but at LSH it's $3.50! nuts. pinkpetter i chose new tiles from LSH! upload them later at home. have been busy going around to see tiles and packing the house. so far so good, cant wait for the laminates etc to come. i have some ideas in mind for my carpentry. i drew it out by hand, still no time to play with google sketchup. oh yes, hows your backsplash like? i am still confused with these terms.

to all: i called uncle!! i told him i want to go LSH to see! he say, go ahead! even told me there's 4 shops there to browse thru. so tmr i am dragging my mom down to have a look with me. i pretty much like my selection for toilet as i love such motifs but feel that it will not go with my theme. if my kitchen has a color scheme, i am thinking it should flow all throughout the house. if so, means i would have to re-select my toilet tiles!! my friends did say its ok to have a different color scheme each room but i think its going to be messy. pet what do u mean by light and dark dont match exactly? im just concerned about my lights used. i know sin lek uses spotlight and i only have normal white light in my bath/WC area. i think that might just affect the look of things. guy77 so you are getting all from sin lek? mrspiglet dunno if i should put it for the beam. dont want it to stand out. hmmm.. i wont be getting that cos i am going for my first option, the atas tiles! but maybe i might change my mind once i see LSH selection!
