Yes, I engaged Zack from Ideal Design Studio to do the renovation for my 5 rm house. very reasonable price and workmanship is beautiful. I would not say their price is the cheapest but apart from price, he has help me up a lot of other things as well cos I am too busy with my work. For example, I forgot to apply for PUB for my new flat (completion date on 24/3 and commence reno on 24/3) and during the renovation, the electricity got cut off, he personally help me to go to my unit to wait for the electricity guy to come to do an emergency connection, I really pai se cos during tat time, the house was massy and no electricity and of course, very hot. I really appreciate his help. During the renovation, he will keep me inform of all the details on the renovation as I am not able to go to the site to view as too busy with work. After the renovation, he will contact me to check if there is anything else that I need to do or not satisfied. He will quickly arrange for the thing to be done. What I would say is that he is really a very sincere and responsible designer. I would definately recommend Ideal Design studio in this forum as they are not only a designer/contractor but also a friend who you can rely on. For your information, generally I only did 2 bathroom (overlay + piping + installation/removal of accessories + shower screen + solid top + vanity cabinet), 1 set of kitchen cabinet ( total 21 ft + solid top + piping), 1 shoe cabinet (3ft full height), a partition board (total 20ft) to cover the air con trunking and painting of whole house. The total only cost me 10k which I feel really very reasonable as I only allow them 10 days for the renovation which they manage to complete everything by 3/4 except for the shoe cabinet because that was a last minute decision (I only decide to do the shoe cabinet on 30/3). I move in on the 4/4 and we are very happy with their workmanship and of course, the last round of painting was on 2/4 but surprisingly you won fee any of the smell of the paint.

I got it from my ID firm for my renovation together - Ideal Design Studio. Do PM me if your need his contact. But I guess it will be difficult to get the same price if your would just want to install the shower screen. Anyway, their workmanship are good and price resonable. I spend only 10k for overlaying 2 toilets(include 2 shower screen + repiping the whole house water pipe + all accessories installation + 2 ft vanity cabinet + 5 f solid top base for master bathroom) + kitchen cabinet (top + bottom = 21ft + 12 ft solid top) + whole house painting + 3ft full height shoe cabinet + replace 90% of the power point with new casing (include adding 6 new power point & 2 TV point) + change 3 doors lock and construct a partition board in the master bedroom.

ha, good on you. Hope you can get a good quote from him. He is really a nice guy. I feel pai se on him because I am working and not able to go to the site to check on the reno, but lucky he did all and keep me update everyday even though i only do a small reno. As for the chrome, cause they will paint on it, so need not use stainless steel as s/s will also get rusted and more expensive. I can't afford to do alot because very limited budget and I only gave them 10 days to complete as I need to move in by this saturday. They started on 24/3 (my HDB completion date) and will be able to finish 90% by today except for the shoe cabinet because it was a last minute decision, I only decide to do the cabinet this Monday, so, it is also my fault but they will complete it by next monday morning. You will be amazed with their speed. -

Hi all, my renovation done by Ideal Design Studio will be ready by early next week. So far so good, the workmanship is really good and I really like it. Even my mother in law who is kind of choosy also praise for their workmanship. My ID is Zack. He is a very patient designer who will listen to all your ideals before giving suggestion and I would definitely recommend him to in this forum. Surprisingly, he can really meet my budget. The final quotation that I got for the same kind of work that I am asking for is only half of what other ID firm gave. Now I can't wait to move in. -

Hi Aubrey and Shogen, I have been sourcing form ID and Contractor since last month, received 6 quotes range from 5k to 18k for the same kind of work to be done. Amazing right, the gap is huge. So, better review carefully the kind of material and price that different ID firm will give. I have decided my ID cause he gave me a very reasonable price for the same kind of work other ID firm would gave. For example, a set of tempered shower screen I am getting now is $330 while the other ID firm gave me a quotation of $720. Do tell them your budget and they will give you the best quote. Because I tell them my budget is very small and I know it could somehow difficult to meet, they will still do their very best to meet it. Although it is a bit out of my original budget, but I think it worth it. If your want to know my ID contact, please PM me. Thanks. -
Well, don sign anything before you have confirm. I received 6 sets of quotation and met 3 ID firm. Arrange for the measurement to be done, then get another 2 sets of revised quotation. Will be meeting another ID this weekend to see the drawing and discuss about the pricing. After revised, then I will sign up. This will be safer.
