Dear All, we have recently started our renovations and had an change of mind.... we had originally wanted laminate for the bedrooms flooring but were thinking of changing them to homogeneous tiles similar to that of the living room.... do you think its a good idea? or we shld just stick to laminate? thxs

  6. hi, i did try out the Mirage MX5.1... but feel that they sound a bit "hollow" (not sure whether its the correct word to describe it)... but the salesman mentioned that it is suppose to sound this way as the speakers were designed for large rooms where it can be truly appreciated....

Hi Chinchye, my blk is 5xx next to cheng san CC actually the dinning are u see in the plan was part of the kitchen.... we "moved" the wall further into the kitchen to make smaller and carve out the space for the dining area.... the area is quite small and the max length of the table is 1..2m....

  12. heh... really appreciate the advice from u guys but to be honest, after trying out various speakers at different places.... we could not really differentiate or appreciate the quality of the different speakers... but they do sound much better than the all-in-one HTS and provide more details during a movie.... and my wife realli like the jamo speakers for their small with simple design.....
  13. welcome to the LED club ..... did u get the samsung one? think i saw the yamaha set also.... is it the one with the slim yamaha speakers? the salesmen were telling me that it is quite an old model and does not support a lot of decoding features....

  20. Hi Guys, decided to go for the Onkyo 607 with Jamo 102 speaker set after Courts slashed their price from 1599 to 1299 and including 25m monster cable do u recommend taking up the extended warranty for $209 (5 years)?

  24. decided to visit Sitex instead and managed to get 2 LCDs for my living room and MBR more details can be found on our T-Blog might find time to visit Adelphi tomorrow to find something to match our new LED TV hopefully KEC will have some "Sitex" promotions too.....
