  5. hi, you can try asking from gate suppliers such as pang giap... they might be able to come up with a solution for you... or try to sell u a new gate

  8. some pictures of the reno... tiling works near completion living room tiles already done and covered with protective sheet... but still cannot see due to all the debris... kitchen also almost done except for the cabinet base... notice the old tiles at the right far end> those would be covered up by the cabinet and tempered glass backing formally part of kitchen but converted to dining.... save on the wall tiles also... but the sadly the beams cannot be hacked shart corridor leading to bedrooms.... flooring oso done... laminate flooring in 3 bedrooms to be up next week
  9. i must say we realli got similar taste..... lolx..... the lighting you got were similar to what i just ordered over the weekend.... living room and dining light.... for your living room light... i chose the silver squarish one and put inside both common rooms... and the dining light veri similar... maybe the same model? i got all my lightings from VLux at geylang.... 12. Hi All, our wardrobe is around 10 feet and id has recommended that we install 3 doors.... but we cannot decide whether to go for 2 or 3 tracks.... 2 tracks - only 1 door can be open at any one time.... 3 tracks - 2 doors can be open together.... but tracks will take more space.... and hence collect dust... any advice
  13. saw an advertisment on "Today"..... Denon 2310 and Boston Acoustics 5.1 speakers going for $1599.... good buy?
  14. hi, yes we did raise this with the id... tempered glass can withstand great pressure without breaking, and force exerted by tiles poping out is not great..... everything is sealed in so you would not know if it cracks.... same as fitting the cabinet over the tiles..... and even if the overlaying is on the new tiles... there are also possibilities that they will crack....
  15. Internal partition for MBR wardrobe..... not sure whether the railings enough for our clothes..... overall wardrobe lenght is 10 feet.... changed the TV console to a slide out one to save space Internal partition for common bedroom wardrobe
  16. have seen many ppl condemn jamo speakers since this thread was started... and is seriously doubting my choice now can anyone shed some light as to why they are so CMI compared to other speakers? is it bcos of their technology? material used? etc?
  17. hi wendy, overall the quote seems quite reasonable.... it is quite similar to the quotes i gotten for my reno.... currently doing the tiling works however you might want to check what is the price range of tiles you can choose from.... with regards to the kitchen tiles, i had wanted to forego it also.... but my ID suggested that i keep the part that is going to be hidden by the kitchen cabinets and replace the exposed ones.... for the exposed part between the top and bottom cabinet, use tempered glass to cover them as a design concept.... it saved us around 1000... on the hacking and re-tiling
  18. 2 weeks into the renovation, the tiling works progressing at the slow and steady pace... so far the 2 toilets are almost 90% complete... and really love the outcome of the mosiac pattern that mike recommended... will post some pictures when its all done.... kitchen wall tiles around 50% done living room around 50% done quite satisfied with the worksmanship so far and the contractors are working even on sundays.... veri hardworking
