Hi Eric, first of all we drew out a rough sketch on how we want the layout of the compartments for the ID.... then we printed out photos from the internet, cut outs from magazines telling them what we wanted.... they are able to fulfill most of our requests except for the slide-out TV console.....

just got confirmation from HDB officer that it is not the leaking from neighbour upstairs... almost blame the wrong party.... going after ID to rectify the problem....

thanxs thanxs ossify you really are the guru i emailed HDB yesterday to ask them what to do with the popping paint, and by noon time a HDB officer called me to arrange for an site inspection to find out the actual cause today (quite impressed with their efficiency) if HDB confirmed its not the leaking then i will make sure they follow exactly your steps to fix up the ceiling tried meddling with the disk rack last night ... most of the plates can fit in but the bowls are placed in a somewhat awkward position....

yes it includes the runners... but not the hinges... the hinges are part of the carpentry

most of the shops i visited does not quote with the bulbs and ballast.... have to buy separately.... think you have to ask to be sure i bought a KDK for $220... comes with remote and timer... simple but does its job well

hihi congrats on your new home i was previously looking for one in bishan but gave up as the COV is too high.... from 30k onwards... is it still as high now? given the choice, i would choose the 1st layout.... reason is simply the partition will make the whole area looks smaller.... just my thoughts

Picture of the kitchen view of kitchen from living room - it was actually larger but we moved the partition further into the kitchen to make space for the dining area bravo sink... to the right is the box up to the ugly pipes.... asked ID to put glass backing to the right to protect laminate from water splashes.... but put on half way stainless steel sauce rack from ID.... a bit too high but too late to do anything....

we was also victim of such harassment activities a few weeks back..... bought the house around 18 months ago and started to reno last nov.... den out of nowhere, we got a "new" coat of paint on the gate wan main door with scribbling on the wall "O$P$ 21-XXX" ..... but the thing is we are on the 4th floor.... difference of 16th floor and we also kena!!! we found that the said unit already had CCTV installed.... and unit on 22nd floor also got same treatment as us.... reported to police... came and take statement but no news till now.... now that the reno is complete, just hope that it does not happen again.... just our luck....

common room pictures Swing door wardrobe - with normal white interior laminate, full slide out rails for drawers.... anti slam hinges for swing doors... had wanted to install anti slam drawer rails also... but works out to be too expensive... right partition with 2 swing doors.... and full height mirror mounted on door.... left partition with 1 swing door... drawers with lock...

ID say most prob due to leaking air con from floor above and seeping into the floor tiles above.... true enough the aircon used by unit above is those ancient box type and all corroded and rust.... they suggest we talk to them to fix or change the aircon.... if not complain to town council to force them to do something about it... ID is kind enough to offer to scrap and repaint it after thet have fixed the aircon....
