And the newest photos so far:

Here's are some photos from our renovation. Some outdated photos which I didn't have time to put up:

The glass thing was my idea and it costs an arm & a leg...$7300...even more expensive then the roof. My concept was to leave it open unless we need that room as a guest room, i.e. when I have people staying over, then I'll be closing the door to convert it into the room. So not an issue opening and closing it daily. Otherwise, it'll mostly be left open to increase the actual "living area" for my otherwise, not-so-big living room. Don't know how it will work out, but I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed.

It's the "Beauford 1500" from HydraBaths Brand. Acrylic material. Measurement: 1500 mm (L) x 700 mm (W) x 350 mm (D)

Thanks pinkpetter! It's 30 cm x 60 cm tiles. I like simpler type of designs & colours, and thus the choice.

blue_diamond: you are most welcome. Good things must share Poetdesign: Not sure if you can see this, but major works still on the way http://s727.photobucket.com/albums/ww276/pridilaw/

We went to the branch at Enterprise One near Ubi. It's supposedly a "moving out" sale, but don't worry, it's not a "last piece" kind of situation. We'll get new piece for our sofabed.

It's one of those where you can press on a lever and ice-blocks comes falling down through a compartment straight into your tumbler. You don't have to literally put water into the ice-tray, sit and wait 5 hrs for it to turn into ice, then try to pry the ice away from the tray to get the ice. It's definitely cool to have ice-on-demand, but seriously, to pay a lot more for it, I will have to think twice.

It's a bit easier becuase I'm the stingier of the 2..keke ..well, as long as it's not daily jacuzzi, I guess it's nice to indulge once in a while. Manage to capture a photo of my common toilet being tiled. This is actually within a period of less than 5 hours. A bit slower for our MBR toilet though.

Happy with our purchases today. Bought many household stuff. Here's the photos of the Hansgrohe set we bought (Focus E set with Crometta 85 Multi/Porter'C set). Also bought electrolux vacuum cleaner for our house (Z1750) & car (Rapido ZB412C).

We went shopping for some of our stuff today. Realised that our package does not include conceal piping in our bathroom. Well, good and bad...bad, maybe not so nice, but good, for practical reasons just in case there's a need to change piping. Need to ask if anyone knows of nice rain shower systems which are for exposed piping? Would appreciate if you can direct us to appropriate channels. Bought our kitchen sink, tap, common bathroom sink & tap as well as our jacuzzi set liao! Also got a good deal for our sofa, from Navinzi. Guys, do check it out, 100% cow full leather, very soft and comfortable to sit on, good service from the sales girl too. Bear in mind, some of them are quite big and unable to fit into condo lifts or stairwells. Also, I'll include some photos of the process of our house now. Our floor tiles: http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/3057/cimg2603.jpg Hollow blocks for our new walls: http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/9568/cimg2605.jpg Hacked living area, now patching up the holes from the drilling. The wall which is being patched up was the one wrongly drilled: http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/8762/cimg2606.jpg MBR, hacked toilet & bedroom: http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/6379/cimg2598.jpg Common toilet, hacked: http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/4774/cimg2594.jpg So far okay...fingers crossed

Thank you iluvmybeans, the dark tiles are for the floor, the white for the wall and the striped one for our feature wall...either at the shower or the WC area.

We've chosen our tiles at LSH and these are our choices: Common toilet: http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/9434/commontoilet.jpg Kitchen: http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/3739/kitchen.jpg Living: http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/3728/living.jpg MBR toilet: http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/5659/mbr.jpg

I've got to own up coz the major damage was because of my "glass wall" idea... That made up the bulk of the 38.4k. I hope it'll turn out nice and will post up lots of pics on that.

The good thing about this wooden deck is that they have the plastic thingy underneath for you to connect adjacent decks and it helps in terms of water drainage. I will also add some DIY to it by painting it to seal the wood to make it more water resistent. Additionally, I'll try to make the colour as close to our main door as possible to match it
-
Considering adding 6 to 8 jets too! But can't do it too often as our water bills are going to be so expensive..haha
-
Yeah, we wanna enlarge it too. We gonna put a long bath + rain shower in it. I hope it looks and feels good. We like a relaxing, resort feel to our bathroom. Maybe not so important in the common toilet. But definitely the MBR toilet.

yo yo... A little intro abt me, I'm bodo's wtb...the little miss fortunate to be able to receive 2 rings..keke..thanks dear, muacks! I'm really surprised at how many posts there are though it was just started 1 day ago..thanks to all pp who have given suggestions for our little chummy nest I'm a bit particular about the colour of the cabinet because it's got mixture of blue, green, grey etc...quite tough to match the colours of the kitchen top. I dont' really like the original top and intend to get it changed to solid top. Was thinking of the white colours with some specks...dunno what you call it Additionally, to make it match, the floor of the kitchen will be similar in colour as well. I don't like too many colours mixed together, makes the whole thing look messy, I prefer earthly, neutral colours. I'm not a particular artistic person, but I have the priviledge of having major says in how the reno is to be done...bodo will be in charge of the hardware (home theatre system etc...the man's stuff..keke )
