ya lah, I don't expect people to be error-free, but his attitude is bad If you're wrong, admit, then everybody can at least discuss how to get out of the problem, not that we are so 野蛮 from our track record Like we had some problems with the wrong tiles being hacked, our skirting being hacked..but we went around the problems after some discussion His attitude is bad that he insist he is not in the wrong...**** ego lah..how can like tt... Even obviously is a poor patchwork TV console, also desperately try to justify to ah soon that it is good enuf which obviously, ah soon don't think so..and cut him short Personally, i think product is a good advertisement for future jobs...if he doesn't take pride in his current job...pp see the product, also dun dare to get him to do in the future... U mean carpentry must depend on his mood ah?? So scary....

hi jervislim, From our experience, Uncle is the most 爽快. Alan needs uncle soon to make big decisions...but generally we have no problems dealing with Alan.

Actually perhaps also lah..but we didn't make that decision mah... Then let it out on us meh, we innocent victim wor Alan shouldn't have said it in his presence that he was called in coz the other was not able to handle... But then again he also know mah. that time he told us he not interested in ah soon's projects coz he got soooo much jobs outside with the german pp that he dun need to do ah soon's... Just that now with economy recession, less then come back to Uncle soon only...so he should expect he's not first-line contact mah

His name is Mr Ling aka Ah Di Tall, bespectacled guy, speaks chinese & hokkien For those of you who gets him, just make sure he writes everything down and have a witness or 3rd party like Uncle or ur project manager... Again..this is only my experience, he may not do as badly for other projects So hope u guys see this objectively If he didn't do anything wrong, take it just that I'm bad luck...dun treat him differently

He insisted that we didn't tell him our design for the TV console..duh.. didn't tell him this and that, but the actual fact is we told him, just that he didn't write down and said okay verbally Told Uncle that 我说得到，做得到。 wah, maciam really we malign him like that. So far we never had real problems with everybody else, just him, how can say until we keep picking on him Also, he keep saying his board already reinforced here and there lah, TV won't drop lah, the colour not an issue..blah blah Then uncle soon spoke up...he used 1 finger...mind u, 1 finger, pushed the TV console and it gave way at the place between the patchwork he told him that how can accept this..then again he tried to justify..uncle just cut him short..say redo..take this as lesson learnt, better don't do it next time As for the wardrobe, same thing, he insisted we never tell him...I guess it's his words against ours...but I think you guys can be my witness bodo posted up the picture which I drew for him..got frosted glass...actual wardrobe...NO frosted glass...anything to argue? I guess no need to say anything Alan spoke to me after saying he was sorry that this happened. Told him it's not his problem and I just told him be careful of this carpenter's project in the future...apparently he and uncle soon was seen arguining about some things outside my house about other projects according to Alan So to all forumers out there...beware of him...I'll be more than happy to post his name on the forum if all of you poll...so as to warn all other potential customers outside Post or not to post??

Met up with Ah soon today. Haven't seen him in a while...got a hair cut, proper shirt, looked 10 years younger..keke..tummy still there lar Showed him the patchwork of our TV console, he said okay, change for you, but the back okay. I opened up my laptop, showed him the "skeleton" of the TV console...he said "em...I do thing not like that one".. so he agreed to tear down the whole TV console for us and redo. Additionally, I showed him the poor workmanship of the wardrobe as well and that it wasn't done to our request So he was quite "shuang kuai", told me to email the photos to Alan and get back to us tomorrow. I hope we will have a good outcome and won't delay further...our wedding day coming real soon and we really need time to move in.

ya loh..besides he charge more than the norm...bragging he got XXX years of experience...really put me off. Over-promise, under-deliver.

Alan is off on Sunday. But I did express my disappointment in the carpentry already. So it's not new to him. I have texted him and emailed him with the images of the poor carpentry to him. Will contact him again on Monday.

An update so far... Carpenter pasted the laminate for the wardrobe even without clarifying with us and keep insisting to Alan that nothing is wrong. Never mind about that, if we were to have what we wanted with the railway tracking, the wardrobe would not be perfect anymore as they have to hack it out to redo... TV console, greatest disappointment. We told the carpenter we wanted to hang a 42" TV on it..he said okay okay...but look at the structure of the TV console, I don't think it can hold the weight. Besides, it looks like they are scrap wood from 10 different projects with the different colour in place. The board was at most 3 mm...from my research from other sources, it would have to be at least 6mm thick for a 42" TV... Additionally, the laminate which they attempted to paste on before we find anymore faults with them had vertical grains. I specifically told the carpenter I wanted horizontal grains and even wrote it down for him. Which part of "horizontal" he don't understand. If things are to be done his way, why do I need to custom-made? I can jolly well go IKEA or some wood wholesaler and nail my own wardrobe...duh Compare this with such good quality carpentry from familyof4...sorry borrowed from you without your permission
