haha ya.. finally got my hacking permit too.. so everything starting to fall into place slowly.. so hows your "stay" at your new nest so far? shiok? hehe...

actually many shops are selling this type of light.. its kinda common but you got to be careful about the crystal, some shops they give those China crystal which look very ugly (dun have those rainbow color effect)... actually there are afew which me and my wife like one.. but prices abit steep.. so opt for this cheaper yet nice look dining light lor.. hehe

hehe.. ya.. its just a normal partition board with wallpaper in my master room.. coz im using wallpaper with cove lights from top and bottom, thus no carpentry work is required

Saturday got to trouble my uncle to go up and add some more electrical points that we have missed out... so paiseh.. tiles laying will officially begin next Monday... hopefully things will start to pick up fast... so many things to worry abt.. really a long and tiring process... haha

Lastly my master room feature wall... Feel that something is not right at the very moment i saw it... think its because of its height that is too long, not really the way i originally wanted... so gonna ask my id to saw off the excess and make the feature wall in line with my bay window... i think it will look better that way.. any comment?

Went "inspection" this morning with my id.. the air con trunking were concealed superbly! really thumbs up for their "creativeness".. my supposed ugly air con trunking are now well concealed To those wondering how to lay their air con trunking... this is one of the best! bonus track... my id... haa

Was "on site" this morning to oversee the installation of aircon trunking and false ceiling.. but have not seen the "results" yet as i left for home early... too dusty to stay there any longer and also dun want to be "extra", standing there like a supervisor.. im sure the workers wont feel comfortable with me standing and watching... haha.. Will be going there to check out the "results" on Thursday.. will post more photos soon!

haha... i did overlay only.. hdb does not allow hacking on new hse kitchen and toilet tiles.. i did not overlay the toilets' floor tiles though as im "fine" with the grey color tiles from hdb, at least can save some bucks on that for the toilet wall tiles, i was referring to the floral designs which are not continuous... meaning the patterns does not join from one piece to another.. wanted to go to the tile shop yest to verify what my id said.. but ****... i was there at 6pm and didnt know they actually closed at 5pm on wkend... will sure to check that out again! btw elane, did you get the PD door for your master toilet? or was it tuababy? how much you got it for?

Went shopping again yest... finally confirmed my curtain with Jimmy Textiles after reading thru the forum.. they have lots and lots of curtain to choose from, i and my wife spent 2 and a half hours there.. finally decided on day/night for both living/master, roller bind for the 2 common rooms.. total damaged: $1150.. price i would say is reasonable then proceed to purchase my dinning light at Lights Zone. The cheapest and yet a more "desirable" dinning light we can find.. with S4 crystal only costs $230.. will post some photo soon Next.... aircon trunking and false ceiling installation tmr.. gonna take leave to make sure there wont be any hiccup!
