  1. hi frezhman your house is nicely done up, can share your id/contractor contacts and quotation? my email is dopefish81@yahoo.com, thanks
  2. i'm quite amazed when pple say 'its ok to pay high cov since its near mrt, high flr etc etc' shldnt all these be already accounted for in the valuation? no doubt sellers would want to get as high a price as possible and would use all these as reasons to jack up the prices but to each his own i guess, if its not a problem to fork out the cov and if one feels its worth it, by all means
  3. hi pantieileen .. nope i wasnt btw thanks bepgof for the input
  4. agree with davidbslee if loanshark unit.. dont even bother to consider
  5. 1 car, no dependents, DINK =? maybe arouund hougang area.. what do you mean by kind (comes with full facilities?).. preferably new and fh
  6. hi how much combined income would it take to comfortably afford a 2BR condo in the suburbs? above 8k?
  7. well it does seem that sellers are just fishing for prices now..
  8. Just curious.. how long have you guys been looking for a flat (given the high cov for the past few months and this doesn't seem to be decreasing anytime soon)
  9. nice! when did you buy and location? i seem to see a sharp increase in valuation but yet cov is still maintaining
  10. lucky you.. good luck to the rest of us trying to get a flat during this period
  11. interesting.. i always thought we have to pay the agent the comm if he is the seller agent as he will do the paperwork etc. I think that seller's agents prefer to deal with direct buyers so they can get the comm rather than deal with buyers with agents correct?
  12. not only sengkang.. even places like jurong w, woodlands also demanding high cov
  13. still no news yet... hopefully will have the result in the next couple of days..
  14. hmm anyone has had any other news from hdb besides the letter yet?
  15. http://sg.news.yahoo.com/afp/20090914/tbs-...ng-0b9af05.html does this mean more people will go for hdb already so diffcult to get a flat
  16. Have been looking for a 3 or 4 rm hdb in hougang for the past few mths w/o much luck. cov asking is simply not worth (e.g 20k for low floor, need total reno). no hope of getting a flat anytime soon it seems (unless choose ulu areas?)
  17. how do we reject? have to write in? i had a queue no. of 2xxx and thought there was no hope but received email from hdb to go for selection. thing is, flats left are BTO which is due in for completion in 2012 and i cant wait that long...
