Hi roamca, Very nice transformation! I am contacting Yeak to do up mine too. Just received his initial quote. The downlights you have, how many bulbs per DL and wattage per bulb do you use? What do you think about his workmanship on carpentry and electricals? Thanks for your help in advance.

OK thanks for your recommendation Angel. My place is the Metropolitan at redhill, but TOP only in June/July. Btw your curtains are nice, where did you buy them from? Is the MBD day organza material?

Hi Angel, Based on your and Rondy's recommendation i am contacting Yeak to do up mine. He said to email the layout and things we want to do and he will submit a quote. Actually i want to meet him to explain better but he sounds too busy. Is this how you first approached him? After the quote is ok then only to schedule a meeting? Was wondering if he's ok to meet in weekends too. Thanks so much and your EM really does look lovely now.

Hi cybnox, love your living room and kitchen. nice pics too, must be using dslr on wide angle lens.

Hi Angel, For my current home, i also bought most of my lightings at Extreme lighting, their price is hard to beat. They have reasonably good service too. Some of the bulbs were dead after few months but considering the price it's ok, i'll just buy philips bulbs to replace those. So you might want to ask them for better bulbs/ballasts. The guy's name was alex when i shopped there 3 yrs ago.

Oh ok Thanks a lot asianms! How is the pricing and available selection of MGL compared to the clementi curtain shop if you've been to both places? Thanks again, and really nice house. A lot of nice carpentry already done by previous owner, so can save money on reno

Thanks Angel, received your PM. Looks like Yeak will do for us too because we know roughtly what we want, so we don't need fancy designer. Will probably check with him for quotes. Thanks Rondy, alamak now that i see your signature every info is there lol.

Hi Rondy/Angel, Looking at both of your reno, they look really good. Is Yeak an ID firm or more of a contractor? May i know where it is located? Thanks, Nick

Hi Troxxy, Thank you so much for your response, it really helps. I will meet him again and ask for quotation. Your altar and feature wall looks good, like the color scheme. If you don't mind to post your quotation, it will definitely help also. Or instead you can PM or email me (nix_drst@hotmail.com) if it's better for you. Thanks alot, good luck on your reno progress, Nick

Hi Troxxy, Nice house and furnitures you got there. Did you find Max or GPlan to be quite good in terms of the workmanship, price, and willingness to accomodate your ideas? I just bought a condo at metropolitan, quite similar layout to yours, and i was talking to Max Yu in IMM shortly, so i am still considering him. One more question, on your laminate bay window, it looks quite good. For bay windows top i was considering laminate, or solid top or granite, do you know what are the pros and cons of those options? Thanks for your help. And looking forward to see more of your reno progress. Nick Hi Troxxy, Nice house and furnitures you got there. Hi Guys, A long time lurker here in RT but first time posting. Need help on the chengai decking for my planters area. 3 different planters area, the total area is abt 100sqft. Roughly how much does it cost? And what do you all think about laminating bay windows, should i use laminate or veneer or granite top, what are the pros and cons for those options? Thanks a lot! Nick
