  1. The original decor is quite interesting with pillars and platform bed instead of sofa. Very nice transformation.... Like the kitchen and living room as well.... Where is your place by the way?
  2. Hi AJ, Yea rose-white is very slightly off-white. For rooms i used morningdew which is very similar to rose white too, and i used cool white lights on rooms, it's a bit more yellowish than daylight lights.
  3. Hi Adrian_john, Below is the living room pic during daytime: Hi Pinklady, Thanks for the comments
  4. Congrats! Any layout to share? Nice big area.
  5. hi sixer, your house looks very good, i like your clean-cut kitchen and the dining feature wall.
  6. Hi adrian_john, actually my living room's paint is using rose white color, so the hue was due to the warm white lighting + yellow LED. in my previous home i used light yellow paint with warm white lighting, the effect was too yellowish for my taste. so i think white wall paint + warm white light effect is just nice. i'll post the living room pic during day time later so you can see the difference.
  7. Hi littlejkhw, Same as rondy, i bought them in Hanoi, Vietnam, they have a bunch of Tintin collections and others. I can't remember the exact price, but like rondy said, it's very cheap, less than 5 bucks. My main painting **** room was also bought in Vietnam, will take picture of that later for you.
  8. Hi Ivy, Very nice pics, can't wait for more.... Like the kitchen very much too like the rest, very clean look

  17. Yeah thats true. Mine consists of glass rods and crystal balls. Since i cant differentiate much between good crystals and bad ones, i settle with the cheap cheap ones haha.
  18. hi wakzool, i like your 2-faced clock, do you have a closeup of it? that's the one bought at molecule as in your signature?
  19. Hi mrspiglet, the 5% rebate is the manhattan card right? it's a good one, i've been using it to the fullest to get $300 rebate haha.
  20. Hi Adrian John, Thanks and good luck for your reno too, Yeak is a safe bet, almost engaged him too but had other considerations that time. Hi Dyleen, I got the lights from various stores, Lights Arcade, Extreme lighting, and Toyomi (near A lighting in Geylang). I got the crystal lights for $260 each from Toyomi, it's a really good deal considering the exact same lights i found in Balestier costs more than 1K.
  21. Nice! Any layout to share, so that we can visualize the space better?
  22. Balcony: Downlights (all round, kitchen, bathrooms, foyer, hallway): MBR and Bedrooms lights, matched the design with all downlights: Bedroom lights on:
  23. Lights were installed today. Total spending on lights is 1.5K: 2 hanging crystal lights (living/dining) 1 track light with LED bulbs (between living/dining) 11 downlights (kitchen, bathrooms, hallway) 3 ceiling lights (all bedrooms) 2 ceiling lights (utility/wc in yard) 1 hanging light (balcony) misc: T5, fluorescent Dining light: Dining light on: Living light (same as dining), newly installed feature wall and display cabinet with brown tinted mirror: Close up of living/dining light (dark because i adjusted the exposure so you can see the crystals): Track light between living/dining, with LED bulbs:
  24. Hi Miu and Vin, Yep i drooled looking at Ascentia Sky's jet black colored fittings in the bathrooms, all look very nice. But the sky high price coupled with the bad layout (almost all rooms has BOTH planters and bay windows) puts me off. Like Vin said, facilities are very nice, lots of common sky gardens with pools and best of all common sky suite at 45th floor (all residents have access). Hi Weii, Reno is 80% done, will take a few pics today after lighting is installed.
  25. Hi Miu, The laminates/cabinets were good but the fittings were not so nice especially on bathrooms, but this condo is targeted and priced for mass-market/mid end though not supposed to be luxurious. The next door neighbor Ascentia Sky has much nicer fittings but has launch price 50% higher than Metro, for me location, price and layout is the no 1 consideration. And to buy those posh fittings wont cost you more than 20K anyway, so since this is for investment and own-stay it's a clear decision for me. Yeah the kids playground below mrt track is the thing i hate most for this development. Btw, I love the layout of your loft! Very unique!
