wow wow wow..but your TV and soundbar are of the higher range compare to mine.. lolx..but i went to comex and they promote HTS8140 at $1049 with $300 philips vouchers and i wanted HTS6100 but they said it was discon. So i have to go down to Mega discount store to get HTS6100 at $799 (FOC $100 philips voucher).

wow, my t-blog become switches forum liao...lolx yesterday was the most hectic day in my life, cleaning up the place for straight 7hrs and it was still dusty. the grout lines were still blackey but anyway, there is still outstanding stuffs to be done like: -touch-ups of paints, varnishing for doors and skirtings -chging of 1 kitchen tiles -installing of backsplash and mirrors -rectification for carpentry (as i clean my wardrobes i found more ugly stuffs) : i realise the drawers wood were not hard enough, seems like can't hold heavy stuffs and makes me wonder if it is chipboard? A must for them to redo laminates. My shelves were painted instead of pasting PVC laminate, my ID said it will be more cost if they use it for inner wardrobe which i don't think i will buy in that reason because it only 3 frames that they have to paste. -removing of tv consoles and resizing it : my ID forgots about my day&night curtains in the living room and so did not leave any space, thus the tv console need to be resize, which means saw off extra wood and fix back again. Initially the TV console was suspended with 2 metals legs but my mum said it would look better without the 2 legs. With all these, i think i will have to do clean up again for at least 4 hours. argh~! Meeting ID this evening to go through rectification and highlight to him that i don't like his carpenter work because the workmanship is poor. Told him to change his carpenter and he told me(in a friendly tone) to wait till rectification works are completed then comment. We shall see by then. On the happier note: i bought my tvs and philips soundbar!! i don't have a feature wall so i need the wall-mount soundbar to hide the wires!

folks..thanks for all of your opinions! i felt so lost to handle all these by myself but i told hubby it's a relief that i got a bunch of helpers in forum!! well, i took half day leave and went up my flat just now..painting has already started before the electrician could adjust the light but i told my ID i want the light to be at the TV area and thus he said no issue and he can get the painter to come and touch up tomorrow.. well if it is patchy, then i will tell the painter to re-paint the ceiling again.. for the wardrobe, my ID reminded me that i actually accept the design over the phone, as he was telling me that the previous design was not possible due to the box-up on top of my wardrobe, plus there will be visible gaps btw the whole row of colored glass due to the wardrobe door. he told me trust him with the staggered design and now it looks ugly because the colored glass was not up yet. But i told him what if the design looks complicated, because i want a simple, clean look wardrobe. His reply was if i am not pleased after the colored glass is up, he will do the changes. I was in a dilemma situation but somehow i got to TRUST him since i engaged him for the job. So i take the BET and see the final result. as for the wood, i told him that i have proof that plywood is better than blockboard and i dun expect an answer from his carpenter but instead a refund (discount). as of now, i am still satisfied with major stuffs. BUT the corner hanging bar, it's a MUST to change and i can't accept this UGLY pole in my wardrobe..lolx

actually i think my ID forget that we dun want the zig zag design, and we prefer the original design. i dunno who should bear the consequence but do you know how they gonna rectify? dismantle the door and redo it? or can use something to cover up?

Versus it's not a whole piece of glass door, but it's a mixture of white laminate with purple colored glass..the glass supposed to lay as 1 straight row, but now became zig zag pattern.

the electrician called me 1 day before and said the pt is not centralised enough and i didn't expect the centralised is this kind leh..i think this is easy to solve, i can get them to chg tml. we never communicate abt this lighting pt because it was originally fixed by HDB and the electrician chg it. huh, the zig-zag CMI, then how? how to change the door? the L-shape pole i will definitely get to chg, luckily haven pay 50% to my ID else pay liao, hard to get them change man! boo~~~

uncomplete dressing table *missing glass top* the dressing room wardrobe - supposed to be a whole straight row of purple colored glass but ID change to zig-zag pattern, which is the same as Guest room..Zig-zag pattern looks confusing, don't you think so? and this is VERY UGLY. i dunno what makes them think that i will accept this.

need all of your opinion..the electrician fix the light in the middle of the living room, which is not above my dining table nor sofa. i think it looks weird, but my mum said it's ok? if need to shift, i have to ensure they shift else painting start tomorrow.

actually it depends what you are doing. for me, my reno figure was small and the no of items were not alot.

he will collect 50% from me on friday cos he will complete all carpentry by then. then remaining 20% is after the rest of the barangs: rectifications/mirros/backsplash etc are completed.
