Hi folks out there, anyone can advise about their quality etc?

got one place, very lok kok one, but have abt 10 mattress like macoil, king koil, vono there for you to try. most likely i will buy the bedframe from this place as i like one of the headboard which is firm(not so soft or hard, in between) but happen that the headboard belongs to the storage divan which cost 1.1k!! the similar one that i like is KingKoil which is abt 2k! so the lady boss knows i dun have $$ so immediately suggest me to take normal divan with the headboard at $750 KING SIZE (include gst, delivery charges). i didn't buy my bed from there as i got it from Sealy. What i like abt the lady boss: friendly and give $50 extra discount to young couples..wahahaha - but think anyone press her for discount she will give. It's at Machpherson opposite famous duck rice. think the building name is call Standard photo, the shop call Cheap Mattress Centre, building "lok" showroom also "lok"..

you can try seahorse, their latest one, really not bad and it has 50% off till June.

BTW, i went morris after seeing yr 'good buys' at admiralty, didn't know they have a new branch at paya lebar (hubby was angry with me for not checking out, we took 1 hr by driving to reach there) i didn't find any sofa i like there, except the expensive range but it's over our budget alot..finally i persuade hubby to see Vhive and Seahorse today, cos i prefer to chg sofa every 2-3yrs, so must buy cheap cheap one.. haha

At 1st i tot since it is the same company as life story then the factory should be under life story and not fashion home ma..but at that moment, i believed in her - the butch.. i am so happy that i didn't buy anything from them but the service is truly s**ks..This plump person - dunno whether guy or girl, cos body and name is guy, but vocal is girl. So this is my story.. We walk in to the building because we are so impressed by the outer look of it. Then came this butch..we were looking for bedframe so she brought us up to 5th floor. Then she asked us to try on the beds, while she head to the toilet. She was down with flu and i was so worried that she spread to me. (Strange,i tot she shld be on MC because customers will be scared off) And i wasn't looking for any beds so since there isn't a bedframe i like, i told her i want to take a look at their sofa. She then brought us down. Everything was still fine and i thought she's nice. Upon reached the 3rd flr (sofa showroom) she sat down at one of the sofa, chatting on her phone with her darling and talk abt those 'i miss you' stuffs, and was pointing all around to ask we all to try her sofa..THIS IS MY FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE THIS KIND OF SALESPERSON. But, we didn't go off because Hubby was so impressed with their sofa and love it so much. So when the butch finished her call, she walked over and i checked with her abt the price. It was over my budget and she asked my hubby, aiyo this one(pointing at me) is your gf or wife, why she like that one(meaning i stingy but to me it's ok) So hubby told her she's my wife and my finance controller. So she LL, and we told her we need to consider. Instead of bringing to the ground floor, she brought us to 5th flr(the beddings) again. I told her, it's ok, i blew my budget so i will have to sleep back my old mattress. You know what she say "Oh then you see the bed for "song" only la!" what is this man? You have a showroom, and so you are supposed to show. I find an excuse and told her my mum not feeling well, so i have to come back another day. She asked we to faster decide, she want to close us since we are "rushing off" and she claimed that she has hit the target for the month, so ours is extra earn to her. When at the ground floor, her colleagues asked if she closed the case, she said: "Aiyah, siao eh, mother sick still come see furniture" ?????? i am really speechless, but really lucky, due to her "ah lian" sales method, that pissed us off, then we decide not to buy..

hello what the price for this? i need a headrest sofa too, but guess i need to shorten the sofa length cos i can't have any longer than 2.1m

Woo congrats..will see your beautiful house in another 1 months time! btw, i went to Morris Lifestyle at Admiralty Road yesterday, there isn't any sofa that me and hubby like, then we sian 1/2 liao..but there is a 2399 package, so i suppose u took that package and top-up right? Indeed is a good buy, but i don't need a tv console, so it is out for me.

not so many la..dun scare pet, later she dun wan to get married..how? haha..our govt wants more to start family leh.. mine - 20k for wedding plus Japan for honeymoon, but you will get back some % from yr dinner..unless you wants a super romantic venue like 1k+per table la or super ex honeymoon..(or decide yr honeymoon from yr angbao return la) house reno - i still dunno, but mine is new flat so am setting 30+k for reno and furniture. so about 60k, but still 有的找.

blue: agree with you.. most IDs told me my place only need 3 weeks, cos no tiling, just minor electrical works, painting, carpentary and windows. But i told hubby, not to believe in them, prepare ourselves for 5 weeks. one example, morning you wake up, then you go to work, press the lift buttons, then stomach ache, go back home and do business, then head out again, aiyah miss bus, then wait, then traffic jam, then late for work. All these is beyond your imagination one. same for them, they thinks my hse can fix in 3 weeks, scully the worker last min MC, or other nonsense or excuse leh? *choy choy* you know kenneth ask me to start reno b4 lunar 7th month cos it's enough for him to complete, but i told him better not, later u can't and i got to rush you, very 难看 cos i will bug his phone 24hrs.

but based on blue diamond floor plan for his big kitchen if he just do L-shape kitchen cabinet, with 1 straight row top cabinet or just bottome cabinet for the whole kitchen, which is more cheaper? because i was thinking if he want to do all bottom cabinets for his kitchen, then the cost for solid top is alot!!

mine is king size storage 1100 shower screen 600 vanity cabinet 400 (3ft?? i think) shoe cabinet 600 (3ft full ht) suspended tv console 1000 (5ft w/o feature wall) L shape 17ft wardrobe 4250 but dun compare mine with yours, cos it's Alan quote, not uncle. ;P I have floorplan, but dunno where is the switches, where is the beam etc, so not accurate.

yah i will talk to uncle one! but after i get keys la, cos floorplan also not accurate one. on floorplan my hse looks big leh, but actually it so so so SMALL! i almost faint when i see those photos!

i am in no position to comment uncle and Alan, i really think Uncle is a good business man! Smart and kind hearted, if not, i won't be tempted to ask for his contact and to ask him quote. Maybe Alan nt experience into quoting price yet so that's explain for my case. I won't give up Uncle just because of Alan's quote, i will approach uncle again when i have my keys! UNCLE, 要等我哦！

I am doing: - LBOX for living room - 15 ft wardrobe - 20 ft kitchen - 3ft shoes rack - 1 bench - 1 tv console - 1 half ht stroage area behind my bed, plus 1 headboard - 1 king size frame with storage - 1 vanity counter for MBR - 1 shower screen yah 19+k seems ok for this no. of carpentary but if this is from ID, i am still ok..but it's from contractor. But frankly, i think if i were to approach uncle, he will give me more discounts.

my new place is also SK, but Fernvale. But Alan is the one who contact me (ah soon told him to). But you are lucky cos uncle is the one who neg the price with you. For me, Alan told me if i dun exclude anything from the quote then he will give me free things - which means the price is not negotiable. He continued that he charged certain things expensive but some other cheap. i am not doing any hacking or tiling, my quote is 19+k. I have not gotten my hse key(but will be next month). Once i got my keys, I will invite uncle to re-quote again. I don't mind Alan to oversee the project, trusting that uncle will not hire someone not experience/knowlegeable etc plus I intend to oversee myself. BUT the only thing is I don't like Alan quote price. Even ID price is the same as his
