anyway, yesterday ID called up and said that hubby's idea to put the "medicine cabinet" in dressing room is not feasible. But did not say why so hubby is kind of upset (of course la, his idea kana rejected). So I was telling hubby maybe ID has got an idea for our hse liao, then this don't look modern. Anyway, will see what my ID proposed..he suppose to get the final quote done and send to me this week... we are letting our ID to decide the paint color since both of us are really bad in deciding..ask me match clothes i still can, but not walls with furniture. met up w my frds yesterday and she was telling me how much she regret for getting non invertor. in the start, she has the same thoughts that both of them are not an 'aircon' person and they hardly on the aircon..but gradually when weather is hot, she got no choice but start to on, and her bill shoot from less than $100 to $150, all because of non invertor. But i told her it's all because she hack her room, and once she 'on', she needs to on both aircons.. but for my case, i will only be at home 3 days in a week, and the most only 1, and i only on aircon less than 40 times a year, so why would i need to pay for an invertor?? and i will most likely change the aircon 5 or 6 yrs later.. can anyone advise, should i get invertor and non invertor? Even the aircon salesman asked me to get non invertor..

erm, can move only 3 days after an shen. the furnitures can arrange in before ah shen. for my case, i am getting new mattress, so my mattress cannot enter till 3 days after an shen. and even mattress can go in, i still cannot sleep, cos still must an chuan. now then i know, an chuan is not for only married time, but also move new hse. FYI, i am married for 2 yrs liao.

this is the problem in my dressing room, from my floorplan, you can see the 2nd room,i am doing a L shape wadrobe. So i wana end at the line, but because of the beam there, my ID says it's ugly to just end at the line. He suggest me to do a suspended dresser or study table, but that will be higher than my bay window..it's look kind of weird. Hubby suggest to do sth like a medicine cabinet where i lift the cabinet door down and use it as table for makeup or for putting laptop.. otherwise, i think for simple effect, just put a mirror there.. what you suggest?

only window grilles for living, rooms and kitchen. SY needs sliding window and grilles. so my ID is correct, the window guy is wrong. Aircon will get from ALLbest but BD, that Andy you mentioned don't work in SK. I called up SK and the guy say he is one man show there..but anyway, will buy from SK branch la, if any hiccups, SK is easy access for me. window guy is my FIL lobang.. eh but if they paint till my window, the painters should clean up the paint for me right?

yah BD, never pay attention ah! basically, nothing fantastic abt my flat compare to my neighbours. it will be a simple flat, but comfy and small enough so i dun have much cleaning area...wahahaha..asked abt 10 IDs and contractors to quote and after one big round, I should getting Haven's ID to do up my place (whom i first got him to quote) he has actually done the layout but MIL wants us to chg some items directions so he need to redo again. Plus a big issue in my dressing room..maybe i should do some drawing and upload to show you all...pls pls give me some ideas.. for MBR toilet, supposed to do shower screen, but turns out that the toilet bowl is one foot next to the shower area(if one day i accidentally gain weight, i will be stuck in betwen toilet bowl and the glass door!!) and thus only use shower curtains liao.. the original bathroom door will have to be replace by PD door. Again the reason is becos it is small and you will have to stay freeze and close the door, then you will be able to move. kitchen - i need ID to do drawings then can show how small it is.. Bascially my ID will only touch on electrical, plumbing and carpentary works. Aircon, windows are "sub out". For aircon, installation should begin on 8th August. NOW, window person say painting should start first but ID say should wait for window and aircon done up, then his turn. So which is which? need yr advice..

thanks everyone! i have seen 3 rooms, but actually my hall and kitchen plus rooms are almost the same as 3 rms flat, just that i have an additional service yard and walkway. it's really small, and "small" and "problemetic flat" were commented by parents , brothers and ID.. Before i touch on the problemetic areas..i am proud to show my mini buys..(mini because of mini hall and kitchen) These were bought in May, when GSS just started and I really got good buy from gain city, both just cost $1298. FIL wanna us to buy big fridge so he can store his barangs and cook sumptous dinner for us on weekends, but due to space constraints, we could only get the mid size one. Not forgetting my king size bed from Sealy, this is the only not mini one, but after this fit into MBR, there will no more space, did i mentioned that there will no wardrobe in MBR? oh yah and last week purchase from S&C, I made Melvin and May an enjoyable day off white bed frame off white mini sofa which is 1.8m, cos living is small black glass mini dining table without flowers, 1.35m, also bcos of living is small
