  1. erm, can you announce what is it? you making me anxious..haha
  2. erm i want him to deduct because of the wood thing leh..is it mean? and how much should i ask? you got guideline for me?
  3. so i can't ask him for deduction liao right? 2k+ for more than 1 mth effort leh..
  4. i dunno the brand but it's colored glass.
  5. before signing agreement, my ID said the wood they provide is solid plywood.. then after when they bring my kitchen cabinet up, then i called my ID and tell him those are blockboard and my ID knew my relative was in carpentry line..so i dun think it's my ID who earn. anyway, when he demand the 50% from me, then i chk with him. the only possible reason why my ID gave freebies was because he was recommend and introduced by our friends.
  6. haha..actually i only paid 30%, so there is still an outstanding of 70%. i didn't do any feature wall, those wood pic that i post are from my kitchen cabinets. (the plywood pic is taken from someone T-blog) My TV will be mount to the wall directly. frankly, my ID is a nice guy, giving me freebies like back splash, 3 mirrors (1 at MBR toilet, 1 at dressing room, 1 at shoes cabinet). The freebies were requested only after i sign the agreement and paid the 30%. So he can actually reject me. by giving these freebies, he is alrdy making less profit. so i dunno how to open my mouth to ask to deduct..i felt that my ID should demand discount from the carpenter and return the $$ to me. the carpenter DARE TO SAY THAT BLOCKBOARD IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN PLYWOOD and ask me to call up other manufacturers to check.
  7. hmm..you mean inform him now or after completion of reno?
  8. unfortunately, i wasn't given solid wood. I was given blockboard. I went up to check the carpentry last night and spoke to the workers..in the start they dun wish to comment abt the wood, then i kept probing and was told it was blockboard. The workers then add on that the wood is getting more expensive so they have to replace solid wood with blockboard.. i was unhappy but i dunno what to say..maybe i should ask them to give me a 5yrs warranty..
  9. it's ok..i wana studied too.. blockboard is the centre potion, which is sandwich by 2 plywoods. so it consider as cheaper alternatives to carpenter but not definitely not us! you should insist them using plywood, but i was chatting with my aunty and she knocked some sense to me as i'm paying 100pfr so i can't expect a plywood quality.
  10. hmm, i dunno where to find that piece of wood liao..anyway all the carpentry should be up by today.
  11. but i thought when remove the original set, you will have the 'drill holes' on the white tiles? sorry for asking so many questions..but i still want to ask. btw, did you change yr door for MBR toilet?
  12. so you change the toilet wall tiles, mixer for yr rainshower set, is it? you did a shower screen? where did you get your bedside table?
  13. how much did you pay for the bedside table? and DID you use laminate flooring for your bedroom?
  14. hope this time the 'wood picture' is clearer.. solid top is up last Sat And a 'dot knock' on my solid top - it's definitely not DUST
  15. WOW, i like your cabinet and sofa!! is the dining table next to the 'open kitchen'? will the sofa be leaning against the bomb shelter? can show more about your bedside table?
  16. i selected a matt cream color but it turns out baby pink color. my ID said he will take a look tml, but actually my SIL said it looked not too bad..but i was telling hubby how to accept a pinkish tone in a green green toilet with a green bifold door right? lolx..
  17. haha. should be bah! but i'm too depressed to wave back..my bathroom vanity top color looks so different from my choice..
  18. babe, sorry la, i went up for 15mins to show my BIL my place and we have to rush to his new office to check defects.
