    Thanks for your advice. I have been reading up on signal weaken upon splitting also. There are some who claim signal strength would still be acceptable if we use good quality splitter and cable, coupled with good wiring skills. I also have read horror stories of not being able to watch Channel U intermittently for e.g. OK, my only concern is Starhub installer will find all excuses not to reuse existing trunkings, since they charge $30 transport fee if site survey is negative. Results would be unsightly trunkings all over. Where as my electrician gave me a good plan to be able to conceal everything underneath false ceiling and existing trunkings.

    Need some advice on what is the proper way of installing cable points to every bedroom. If you engaged private electrician, does he pull a line in from mainbox outside of flat to install a point at your living room, and from the living room, splits to bedroom 1, bedroom 1 splits to bedroom 2, bedroom 2 splits to bedroom 3? If you engaged StarHub, do they do the same as above? Or they pull in 4 separate lines from mainbox outside of flat? I called starhub up and spoke to the technical guy. He said for additional cable point he would pull in a new line; no splitting. And strictly no drilling or hacking; just trunking all the way. Duh, not sure how he could reach my bedroom if its just running trunking

    Dear all, Not sure if this is posted at correct section. For this unit (not top floor) which we are interested in, there are 2 rooms which face north west, will they get lots of west sun? We have been there 3 times so far, all cloudy day thus can't really tell And moreover, I understand that sun direction changes slightly throughout the year? Many thanks

    hdb site reflects only transactions for the past quarter. what i wish to gain info of is the difference in valuation between slump and peak. econony is heading south; thinking how much the valuation could drop in months to come and thus decide whether or not we would want to wait. like i mentioned, a lot of factors could affect valuation, but bcos i dun have knowledge abt peak n pit, any input would be appreciated

    sorry if i sound too ambiguous. good and bad times of property. peak is around 2007 - 2008? bad times around 1997 - 1998? mainly bedok south, though any part of bedok is in our consideration.

    dear all, would like to know the estimated valuation of bedok 4 rooms during both GOOD times and BAD times. understand many factors will affect valuation. just need a rough guide. thanks in advance lego
