Welcome .. is there any hood and hob that is white in colour? I think if you love pink, just pair it with another colour like white. Try not to pair with too many colours as it will just compete with the pink theme. Just sharing my opinion .. but ultimately it is your preference that counts

Some updates for today .. The painters are at my place in the morning .. basically i think they are more or less done. The stainless backing was up, so is the shower screen and exhaust fan. While I was looking at my kitchen from my living area, I suddenly saw that the alignment of the tiles were off. As Jason was there at the same time, I ask him to verify. He also agree that there is a problem and ask me to speak to Ah Soon as he is in charge of all the wetworks. If this is going to be fix, it will be major since it means hacking up the whole floor. What about my cabinets that are already installed? This is really depressing .. On top of that, Jason said our heater got problem as it trips up the electric mains once it is on. Have to call up Joven on Monday

Today is a busy day for us .. met up with Jason, Robin, Solid Surface and Carpentry guys. Manage to see someone at our new place this morning and call Jason. He was there, we quickly change and ran over to catch hold of him, this is what they are doing today: - second coat of paint ici/nippon paint - changing the door locks with stopper - going thro' the carpentry and rectifying some defects - measuring the solid surface - rectifying the fridge base Outstanding issues (for my own verifications) 1. check /fix the wall/floor tiles in bathroom and kitchen 2. Entrance/Living/Dining Room - Redo grouting lines - Install switches for the tv console and shoe cabinet - Fix the tracks for flexible shelving in shoe cabinet - Fix door knob on the shoe cabinet 3. Kitchen - putting up the stainless steel backing - install solid surface for kitchen cabinet - call city gas to turn on the gas supply (3 working days) - install the T5 light below the kitchen 4. Service Balcony - install the shelving for laundry/misc stuff - change the panel of small windows in the service balcony 5. MBR - rectifying the laminate flooring in MBR - relocating the aircon switch - rectifying my MBR wardrobe - moving the sink in common bathroom 6. Bedroom 2 - scv point missing 7. MBR Bathroom - install shower screen - mirrors? - exhaust fan and other accessories installation 8. Common Bathroom - shift the sink - install the mirror cabinet and other accessories 9. Others - paint the gate (2nd coat) - change letterbox lock - confirm curtains / roller blinds and wallpaper on MBR wall

Congrats on your new place. So have you finalised your contractor yet? I bought almost everything from Asia Excel with the exception of toilet bowls .. sometimes after going through too many shops, we get confused and tired of shopping around. So happen that Asia Excel was our final stop and they have most of the stuff we are eyeing
