After the big rain few days ago it seem like no leak le and I feel the wall and the floor towal mat which i insert at the window gap its dry le. I wonder if my hubby's patching work is good or the wall and floor mat have gone dry when I reach home. But at least I am pretty happy. I will monitor again... God Bless

Aiyo.. I also dun wish to change the window if possible and you know I stay above 20th floor le if really the contractor come to change the window sure a very tough job. Today rain the whole day hor.. so later I go back and see if got water leak again or not. I stuck those towel floor mat at the window... in case leak a lot. Aiya I also stingy mah... I think I will pay at the most is 800 for the VO no more or less. Think will have to issue a cheque before and tell uncle... I only have this much in my savings cannot even afford to give 1cent more... hahah. He want he take else I take back the 800. See what he say... hahaha.

Hi. We took a bank loan and the bank have a appointed laywer to assist us on the 2nd appt. We just have to hand over the 5% which is in Cashier's Order to the laywer before the 2nd appt date. On our case the value is 403k and the COV is 7k. We paid 2k during OTP. So we still have a balance of 5K to pay to the seller. We were informed by the lawyers to pay 5% of the purchase price of the house incl of COV. Lawyers pass the cashiers to the HDB and in return HDB pay the balance 5K to the seller on our behalf. Hope this helps.

Okie... we recieived the Unikhome delivery 1 day early. So we accept it since we are in the house. The bedframe ok. As the the TV console drawer seen some mold on the surface of the drawer as its not treated. Same goes to the bottom part of the magazine rack.. also moldy. So we decided to treat the wood. Other than that all still okie.

Just to add that I received the Simmons Mattress which we buy from Robinson on 20 June 2009 in good condition and in time too

The leak is from bottom right corner... I think the window edge or corner cannot close tightly (it looks a bit of gap like that... "wob" I dun know how to spell ) to prevent the rain water from coming in. Ivy Give me some time hor for the pixs am real tired after moving and the unpacking. mrspiglet Happy is one thing and mopping the floor I got to go down on my knee and mop lor.. else not clean for the first time. Hubby buy silicon and so some patch work but have no heavy rain yet to test. I sleep in the MBR for nights liao but not comfortable think I feel scard. Got such thing happen ah. Lucky on the 2nd appt day the ex owner tell us to take over their elect & gas supply so that we dun need to pay the SP Power supply a fee to "Open" the elect & gas. The ex-owner say that they last time dun know hor so let the goverment earn the extra S$.

Now can even hold party in the house and put catering in the dinning area too Hahahah:P Yes the L-Pipe is still a bit slant... Dun think can shorten the pipe liao cause they already cut away 1 inch and besides the basin bracket dun hold the basin (baron) quite well so thats why the weight of the basin also fall a bit on the pipe. We ask Uncle liao he have secure the basin alot liao and he say will not fall off. If can find better bracket to secure the basin than will help a bit but the bracket come with the maker of the basin. Uncle say the other way is to cement the basin but not good cause will crack in long term. So he use silicon. Anyway got warrant period if anything happen tell uncle to come back hahaha

Hahaha I also told that to my contractor on some reno thingy and he know I know my stuff too. Moreover my mom used to partner a reno company so know a bit here and there too

So we keep and we also no extra cash to redo the kitchen at the mean time Our common bathroom under the sink L-pipe. Never did we expected that Uncle get the plumber to fix it cause at first we are unhappy as its slanting. Happy with Uncle's work Finally, we saw some pple cleaning the place last night and that means we are in time and planning to lock the place today evening. Uncle will touch up, finish the outstanding job today and handover the place to us. Still Uncle did not even ask about payment till I tell Uncle about it LOL So after 26days of reno, I think you readers can gladly hire Uncle for your Reno work... have to be firm somtime to get things done in the way we wanted. I would dare say Uncle Ivan work is got standard one and he assure me that he will handover the house to his customer in good condition.
