Thanks for visiting my t-blog. I also support you Ya reno almost done and I updated what not done and to be done. My hubby just pop by and say no one around and he say no smell from the varnish of the parquet liao. Than he go thru we me on the phone and tell me lor and in return I call Uncle lor.. my hubby sian talking to uncle liao he very fast work up le.. recently.. No good mood. My HO is this friday evening.. and I also inform Uncle I will lock the house friday evening. Oh you also stay at BP before ah lots of pple I know in the forum stay that area too. Hahah most of the pple in RT is from SG Brides after married liao do reno lor.. later to motherhood.. LOL

Hubby just left the house w MIL and reported back the following which is the latest. I told Uncle a while ago that we will be moving in to stay on Sat night and will lock the gate on Friday evening. I told Uncle I dun want his worker later come in Sat and wonder how come door lock liao Opps Btw I found out that Uncle is down with flu OMG my hubby also got flu.. think they caught it among themselves Works have not started: Done Acid Cleaning & Gerneral Cleaning Done Under TV Feature wall got a hole for wire to come out, round plastic cover to be install Done MBR Wardrobe Mirror in the wardrobe itself (PS: We totally forgotten about it) Done Breakfast counter top Done Fill up 2 hold on the granite floor (this is left down by the ex owner) Rectifying List: Done MBR Bathroom - Change pipe to SS and change under the sink piping to SS Done my Aircon Uncle Common Bathroom - Extend a/c pipe to waste hole (this is left down by ex owner) We will leave with it ba - Some gap mend but skirting tone did not mend Living & Hallway Area - Some Skirting Replacement but got different tone of shade (Uncle say is like that cannot match to the nearest as we are comparing with a old and new wood he give me eg sia. say same as human being got fair and dark colour pple ) and one small wall at our hallway the gap between the wall & skirting not fill up according to hubby Done Living Area - Main door closer did not take down before varnishing Done - Uncle put another board over the old board Living Area, Shoes Cabinate - There are some ex-switches taken out fm the cabinate and got some hold mend but some are not mend yet Done Painting touch up as some wall is being "varnish" too - Uncle say no problem that one touch up one.

I like the colour thou. For kids its consider a dark colour... but you can get decals in white colour to brighten the room. But if you take black its catchy to the eye too.. so the black or white decals works. Room light in white lor... so not that dark if switch on the light

Hahah I just also left the same message. I think its nice too but its a personally choice if he want to keep it or change it.

Usually for these dark colour paint got to paint for 2-4 coat than nice one. Our MBR is purple ash and the study is stonecave colour the white or cream white actually 1 coat is quite ok liao. But if you dun really like better change else sore eye.

Haha I dun know why but I got this thought in my mind turn it to a cozy area. The place which was drawn with a table just put a painting there and with a light shine on the paint... I notice there is a window at your room just on your way to the bathroom... maybe you can put a small table and a 1 sitter chair to drink you coffee or tea and read a book there.. Dun know if you like the idea or not Hehehe

I call the Crestar company and ask for technical advise Shocking le the lady who pick up the phone say that their fan regulator is made that way The 1 is big speed and 3 is the small speed.. the lady claim its special... LL nothing can be done lor. The lady also find it funny and she keep on laughing on the phone. bo bian la

Ya lor its a bit weird lor... Hahah As me and one of my GF use the same Uncle for our house reno she also have the same problem as me and she did not even complaint to Uncle. She told ne her hubby also say can adapt with it I read somewhere in the RT someone also got this problem and they ask the ID/contractor the got reply like "the regulator is europe made and so its the other way round" Super le... hahah I did not ask Uncle yet so I want to check around first if the regulator is come in this way. I even told hubby hard to say maybe one regulator is right the other 2 is wrong.. LOL cause I only switch on 1 regulator yesterday evening nia.. the whole house was filled with smell as they have varnish the parquet. Lets see what other say on this. I wait

Hi All Uncle just got the electrician to install the crestar fan regulator... Is it normal that the no. 3 is the small wind speed and 1 is the big wind speed for crestar regulator?? Or the electrician dun know how to install?? Hubby say is ok and can adapt to it. I need to know if the fan regulator is made that way or electrician error/dun know how to install. Please advise

Dun angry... most of the furniture got delivery problem one (if you read SG Brides forum).. so I kinda scard too.. Haiz. Why not one day you free you go down and talk to the salesman again... tell him.. die die he got to move the sofa out and you want your money refund. If they refuse than prepare to camp in their show room lor.. bring potato chips, magazine... hahah. Than stil die die if they dun do it... you say you going to spread the news to the newspaper agency... esp.. the sing min & wan bao they like this story one.

Thats why I pack all my delivery on 20 June on one day so I dun gong gong wait at my house. Than will do a clean up on sat itself while waiting for the delivery guy. Hope the TV come first so can see tv LOL Dun know on the Barang Barang le.. I already dun pin so much hope on it.. and am prepare to call the salesperson again if my sofa not delivered. I come up story that I getting married and have open house next month so mus deliver new sofa... else where my guest sit

Hahaha at frist really cannot tahan the woes now Uncle got do for me Ya ya will update you all... but I think all reno sure got reno woes I think mine is the 10% out of the 100% reno. Not a big issue and it can be done just see if Uncle Ivan want to do it or not.. if he say cannot then my payment to him also cannot lor LOL Hahahah

Ya got to REALLY bug your ID or contractor to change for you once you see something is not right. I also doing the same.. thou I dun like it but no choice cause we pay and expect it to be in our way. Cannot pay and get things you dun like \ If you see my t-blog you can see me writing about the uncle he sometimes escape on some matter.. so got to be more firm than him. My contractor/ID is actually 90% in his works.. fast and good.. only the plumbing cannot nia.

You have to tell your ID that the light alignment out if not they dun know or thought you will accept it. Our house celing fan the wiring and casement also algnment out we told our contractor a few time to keep reminding him.

He call the carpenter and yes they use our hinge... so they will replace back for us. But one part I am glad is that till now we only paid 10% of our package price so I can still demand lots of things else I hold his money

Our old hood is also hidden in the cabinet too. But the ex owner did not maintain it so its kinda dirty... after I move in got to clean it spack clean No money to reno the kitchen thou so bo bian.

Sorry... I got to ask this... the book shelves.. is it a copy and paste... cause if you look closely the books on the left & right shelves are the same.
