  1. Hi hi, u look familiar. I'm interested too. My AVR is giving problems.
  2. I have a DVD player with digital audio output. So i got a digital cable and connected it to my AVR (I think is Audio Video Receiver). The DVD player is connected to the projection TV using the RCA cables (Yellow, White and Red), with the digital cable from the audio out to the AVR. Before using the digital cable, TV audio out was connected to the AVR using RCA cable (Red and White), and the AVR was able to project surround sound (alas simple left right sterero with diff modes like theatre, hall), however, now, few events occurred: 1. When I choose Digital Input in the AVR, it says "No Data", and changing the surround modes resulted in crazy humming until I bypass the surround (surround off) 2. The only way to have sound from the speakers was when I bypass surround and choose analog, which (to me) are the sounds from the TV out. Thus I would like to ask if I had connected the devices wrongly, and how I should connect them. My equipment are old without HDMI.
