Hi, Been seeing alot of those small small ants in my house, from living room, kitchen & even bedrooms.From floors to even walls! How to get rid of them? Anyway, im staying at 5th floor, could those ants climb so high? Does the parquet flooring in my room attracts them? Any solutions? Thks in advance!

Hi, my MBR toilet is emitting foul smell like sewage smell after a day. could there be anything wrong with my toilet? and any idea where the smell is coming from, eg is it from the drain? anybody had such experience before to counter the foul smell? thks in advance!

er...is Inch design that bad? had ordered a bedframe from them. supposed to be delivered on sat but they rang and said sat delivery is full, can only deliver on fri....hope my bed frame will be delivered in good order.

Sighzz, took leave today and found out that my next door corridor granny neighbour actually hangs her granny undies at the corridor! Not only that, she got habit to wash the corridor with water and sweep the water and the dirt towards my door coz the drainage hole is near my door. She dont even bother to pick away her old dirt eg incense sticks and her plant leaves! I wonder if that's the reason why the previous owner decide to move away and sold us the unit way below valuation.

Ours is resale flat and we did the following: (1) Overlay kitchen & 2 toilets wall & floor tiles (2) Remove the existing kitchen cabinets & reconstruct (3) Living room divider (4) Living room tv console (5) MBR wardrobe (6) MBR tv console (7) MBR toilet vanity (8) MBR false ceiling (9) Polish living & bedroom floors (10) Do full height mirror in dining room We're also expecting to complete soon, probably this week. Our kitchen cabinet still have 2 doors outstanding and a glass backing not done yet. Other than that, the rest are minor touch ups.

Hello! Newbie at Jalan membina at those 11XX, havent move in yet, waiting for reno handover. Think my neighbours are not that easy to get along with coz my plumber and electrician told us that the neighbours came and complain about them. The neighbours at my floor are old folks, so probably more difficult to get along with. Sighzz...... Not to mention, there's a unit opposite mine that always keep their door open and the auntie is kind of KPO. She can open the gate and just sit at the step and look into our house......... I wonder what will happen after we officially move in to stay....my maltese always bark at the slightest noise, dunno if i'll get complaints too.....

Are u refering to Kelvin? If yes, maybe he's busy trying to complete the works at my house bah.hehe Think we're abit flickle minded or should say coz we cant visualise well without those 3D drawings with colors and so had to do some rectification here and there....And another problem is, we dont have the design plans, so also cant recall if that was the agreed design...... We've made some additions to our quotation and we havent seen the revised quotes too....But we're quite fine with it coz we trust that they wont anyhow charge. Be assured that they're responsible and responsive and they're pretty flexible and easy to work with. This is my 2nd time doing reno & comparing Kelvin & my previous contractor, i'll used earth & h*e*l*l to compare. My previous lao beng contractor was so much difficult to work with! Meanwhile, while waiting for Kelvin to get back with his quotes, I'll strongly advise u to spend the time to browse thru magazines, surf net or view other pple's homes to get ideas of what u want to do for your ideal home. Best is to provide pictures if u really love that design!

My parents are using Rheem storage heater, quite an unknown brand but its very very good coz we had it for more than 10yrs and still counting it years. Not too sure abt the capacity of the storage heater but its quite big coz we have a bath tub at home. I got Jovan for my new home, hopefully it'll be as good.

er, i've an evil idea.....does she put the bin at the corridor? if yes, steal her bin on the 14th day or if better, steal it on the 15th day so she cant burn...... But maybe she'll switch to putting the bin at home. Best is still to tell her about it that the ashes are flying into your home, tell her to go burn at stairway or corner of corridor etc.

I 2nd lightings.com.sg Got almost my whole house's lights, dining crystal lights, plc lights, toilets, kitchen and downlights except for my MBR crystal light. Havent install yet,should be installing in about 2weeks time. Got my MBR crystal lights from a lighting shop opp Chinese Garden MRT.

They dont do aircon installation, u have to source for your own. They do electrical works.

i saw about 2-3 types of bar stools at this furniture shop opp d IFC at Sungei kadut. Looks quite class, not sure about the price though. Think the name of this furniture shop is called Inch or something like that. U can take the free shuttle bus from Yew Tee Mrt to go to IFC at Sungei kadut and then cross the road to go to that furniture shop.

Think it'll look great if u change all the top cabinets to white laminate. Effects would be enhanced if you could add a few glass panels.

Sorry, my reno file is in d car, so dont have d model number. Y we choose toshiba: 1stly, the condenser is made in japan. 2ndly, Toshiba is slightly more energy saving than Mitsubishi. 3rdly, we prefer the aircon design of Toshiba to mitsubishi.Looks more modern.
