  5. sigh~ ... my ugly piping is not trunking for the air-con units ... its the water drainage from the aircon compressor. I think got to lay it into the house cos cannot put the metal tray that will breed mosquito... and also cannot let the compressor water drip freely also ... I see the pipe ... i very sianz ... sobz~~~~~
  6. The installation guy say air-con water drip at least 8 hours a day, so waterproofing will not tahan for long wor ... So have to lay all the way to the drainage hole lor. Actually come to think of it ... is it compulsory to have the drainage pipe running in? I usually see other air-con's drip water like nobody's business leh ... i doubt they have water pipes running to their drainage wor ... a bit too late siah ... install liaoz .... sianz
  7. I see the grey water pipe running through my master toilet... http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?s=...st&p=291345 cannot take it.... very very ugly. Anyone has the same problem and managed to conceal the pipes ??? My hubby suggested painting over with a similar color to match our tiles. But I'm quite skeptical that it'll work. Also scared that paint works will make the whole pipe look even more messy.
  8. Ugly Aircon Water piping running thru the master toilet .... don't see anyway to hide this LONG grey thingy ... husband say paint it wor ... but it think it's still STICK OUT
  9. Been a few days since I visited my house. All tiling is complete. Some electrical sockets and switches are installed and parquet is glued and nail in placed... the house is transforming ... Now, My only concern is the color scheme... which is hugely dependent on the paint and carpentry colors ... Sticking to black white and dark grey. Hopefully my warm lights will compensate on warmth. k .. nuff toking ... pictures to show ... Parquet Floor for Bedrooms Wall sockets Living Room Tiles Allbest came down today to install the aircon trunking. Was given the advice to go for separate trunking for each air con unit to prevent sweating. Logic being, if I were switch on the AIR CON in one room, and the trunking is actually in another room without air-conditioning, sweating is bound to happen due to "SWEATING". Patrick confirmed this, so I had to tolerate the ugly trunkings Aircon trunking Patrick's Electrician came to install the lights. (Pending Kitchen PLC and Living Room cove lighting.) Very happy with my light selections ... especially my storeroom and toilet lights. Storeroom and Toilet Light PLC Lights for Living and Bedrooms

  13. Went to Geylang to hunt for Toilet fixtures. Walked around quite a bit before settling on Bacera. We thought their prices were reasonable for their quality. Dark grey horizontal 3D striped lines for our Kitchen Black brushed stainless steel for our study Beige vertical lines for our master bedroom wardrobe Black square design for our TV console black with Silver lines for our shoe cabinet and black wood grain for our 2nd bedroom ... that's a lot of black ... a bit worried that my home will lack character and warmth ...
  15. Hi, charges for laminate should be included in your carpentry quotation wor. I could choose any laminate below the list price of $50. Lamitak has a factory in Sungei Kadut, it's not exactly a showroom, however you can always ask the sale office to show you the "actual" laminate sheets.
